That is a great mods list. So he has a engine swap with a built engine/F1 and a 250 shot of spray. And where does it say race weight is 4400lbs?

08 Dodge Charger Super Bee, BES/HHP 6.1l, Modern Muscle heads-intake, 17psi F1D Procharger, 225nos- Built and tuned by Dyno Tuned performance in Va.

His G8 has a lot more in it. And also I know he might get rid of the maggie and move to something that makes a lot more power. TT/F1??? We will have to wait and see. BUt even with thsi set up he will set a new record. I do know there is a couple TT cars coming up. People still finishing them up. I know one is trying to get to 1000whp. The fastest right now was TT and that was basically it done to it besides rims/tires. Only made like 700whp.
Yes this car has been a work in progress and 3 weeks ago the car ran out of nitrous @ the 1/8 and still went a 5.77@122.7 in the 1/8 and a 9.03@147 in the 1/4. The car has a big mod list for sure. Hard to compare cars that aren't in the same level.
As for weight the car had the stock seats NOTHING removed on the 9.03 pass!! Driven to the track to boot.

I only paid 28k for the car. It was owned by a Lingenfelter Employee. At the time of purchase the car was bone stock besides Corsa Exhaust, Tvs1900 and CCW wheels.

Got Hemi? Actually you dont. The current-production "Hemi" V8 with its pinched chamber, does not have true hemispherical combustion chambers despite the name; rather, it bears a closer resemblance to the mid-1950s Polyspherical chamber, which Chrysler engineers developed as a lower-cost alternative head for their V8 engines.

Op nice vid, and I was expecting more out of that ZR1 but.......

It's what they do when their **** don't run with others of the same make. I wonder if they ever wonder why theirs is'nt as fast as their compodree's cars since everyone of them is so stock.

She is my DD and got the itch when I had stock block with tvs 1900. 11.4 was not fast enough so I added a 100 shot and went 10.87@124. I tried to push a little hard and upped the pill and blew the motor. I have a 1997 Chevy 1500 that I can drive when the car is down but I hate driving it. SO instead of building a forged ls3 like I should have I contacted Texas Speed and bought one of their blocks off the shelf. My biggest problem is the CR is between 9.5 and 9.8 comression ratio so it is hard for the 2300 to make the power it needs to.

I am at 13 psi making around 650rwhp with the Methanol trying to keep temps down but it just doesnt work. Her IAT hit 175 at the track and it starts to pull timing. The motor can handle a whole lot of boost the TVS is just not up to the task. I am pricing a F1 procharger right now to see what it would take for the swap. If I can sell my TVS2300 with Innovaters West 8rib OD, ECS HD Tensioner, LeftCoast RIP rear OD pullies, and extras for 6500 then I may be able to make the swap.

Oh and for the record the temp was 95degrees with DA being 3030 and it was a TNT night with my best slick 60' of 1.588. A month ago I was able to cut 1.51 on DR so needless to say track prep was not the greatest. This setup alone will go 10.4x once the weather and track cooperates. Next track day is 17th in Houston so we will see what she can do.

Not sure when I will make the change to F1 but if I do it will be a 4door family sedan at 850rwhp and 9s for sure.
Thanks for the details bro!! That's one of the main reasons I primarily steer clear of the forum scene......mostly good folks, but it's the select few that have to make it an unpleasant experience.
Not a lotta props or kudos in here bout your car, but I dang sure will man!!! I'd be giddy like a school girl if I could place the title of OWNER on a vehicle as special as that car! And not a lotta props on the vid either, but I dang sure thought it made for good TV
Keep on rockin bro!

While I was a bit disappointed with times and MPH, I figured DA and 60ft had a bit to do with it. Sounded like a lot of spinning on both sides

More vids of the said G8, please

[QUOTE=GotHemi?;15323667]Next time your in gulfport come on down to new orleans. Ive got challengers,jeeps,chargers,300's, and magnums that you can try out. Pick your poision...Hell the jeep can prolly give you 3 and the go if you would like an "advantage"...

Not trying to argue with you over the internet just saying the Hemi's that i have seen run on the streets with you know H/C/I bolt on setups were very disapointing with the exception of a couple Jeep SRT8s those things are straight nasty gotta give you that....but with all do respect i would like to come to new orleans sometime and see the race scene there I have a lot of buddies here in gulfport/biloxi area that would be down to come check out the scene for sure.

I like how they blame the track not hooking instead of their warm up.
Zr1 never even cleaned the tires, not to mention heat them up.
I would be the G8 would have benefited from rolling out of the burn out, not abruptly stopping.

Nice run. Regardless of shoulda, woulda, coulda; it happened and it is what it is. Any time a 4,000+ pound 4-door gets a chance to be anywhere near a ZR1 or walk it, in this case, is just plain fun. And like someone else pointed out; it's all just racing so don't get too upset over this stuff.

The G8 guys are slowly creeping down the ET ladder. I know I am.

The 11.4 pass from the ZR1 had a solid burout/stage....just edited that brief trailer in the end, so you wouldn't think he only dropped 12's that evening in the pulls vs. the G8. Full ZR1 compilation on the way. Driver did a good job IMO...

I would say a 10.7 sec. grocery getter is not disappointing. Probably mad the GTs are even beating up on the SRT8s. Hell, I beat the **** out of one not too long ago.

Theres an all motor bolt on G8 GT that ran what you ran with your 125 shot. That was on a bad day. Maybe do some research and put down the haterade before you comment.
