No competition for the GXP?? Well first of all there have been plenty of bone stock srts into the 12's. I wanna say the record is 12.5-7. Even if this werent the case most stock cars will run 13.00-20's near sea level. Whats even funnier is the.13.4 record for the gt yet he was sayin srts are only 1-2 thenths quicker.
As stated before i think the gt vs new 5.7 is a drivers race as to with the gxp vs the 6.1. Would never say its "no competition" for any one vs the other.
Now the 392 will have its way with a gxp stock vs stock.

I did a little time over that way a while back. I did the "other" sandbox this last deployment. The particular deployment I am on now is not a tactical one so it is pretty cushy in comparison, but still prevents me from playing with the G8.

Ah yeah over in afghan huh? Yeah I just got back from PACOM and of course my car is also down....2 dead cylinders due to broken valve springs But working on getting it fixed now, let me know when you're back in town id like to check the car out!

I beat a G8 GT that has full bolt ons and a tune and his best time so far is 8.33@86. My best is 8.2@88 with an intake, Predator Tune and a CAI, on 22's you do the math and tell me that bolt on G8 GT's are smoking bolt on SRT8s. Most guys at our track with my mods are running high 7's with the stock 20's

All I can tell you is I beat a Charger SRT8 with my GT. We had the same mods. I have an awesome tune and an extra gear, and less weight so I'm just saying what I know from my experience. As far as other G8s, more notably the GXP vs. SRT8 equally modded, countless articles, threads, or whatever putting the G8 in front...consistently. Truthfully there is no driver's race between an R/T and a GT. GT wins almost every time.
