People just want to make it a Cobra...When it actually isn't. Ford has rumor talks about actually bringing back the SVT Cobra. Cause the deal with the GT500 is almost over with Shelby.

The question that I would like to know is how much stronger the rear end will be over an ss or will it be the same. Will it have Stronger axels. I'm no ford man but the gt500 has that department fixed.

I think biggest issue is where would they put it HP price wise. Has to have more power the the GT/Boss. Yet would they let it be better then the GT500? That would defeat the purpose of having it.

The Shelby Mustang is a high performance variant of the Ford Mustang which was built by Shelby American from 1965 through 1970. Following the introduction of the fifth generation Ford Mustang, the Shelby nameplate was revived in 2007 for new high performance versions of the Mustang.

So again it is not a Cobra. It was built from 93-2004 with no Cobra for 2000 Except for the Cobra R which 300 was made.

Dude, this is blowing right over your head. I am well aware that it isn't ACTUALLY called a Cobra. But that does not change the fact that it carried on in exactly the same role as before. It doesn't matter what it's called, it is for all intents and purposes a new Cobra. I know all the Mustang trivia you could throw at me, but that doesn't change my opinion.

Look even on Modularfords. One the biggest mustang sites. They have 07-12 GT500 then a Cobra sections as well Not them combined. HMMMMM..

Actual owner get pisses/irritated at it when you call the GT500 a Cobra cause it isn't a Cobra.

The GT350 was to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the original 1965 Shelby GT350.
