I am keeping an eye out for Private Rental-when they have that, do your best to go. They prep the crap out of the trackfor those! Ill pm you when I find a date thats open for us

I am going to hit 75/80 Saturday evening-prep will be outstanding so stop by if you can. Traction is much better than Mason Dixon but you might lose a MPH on the trap speeds. I know local people so if you break its not a big deal.

I was wanting to go to 75/80 tonight for t&t. They said there's only 2 competition classes running so you may get alot of passes in for $20. Looks like its gonna rain though

Alright to the guy who calls bs on a ls6 running 124 @11.17 here is the fastest stock internal ls1 motor m6 car... yes ls1 motors not ls6....

ATwelveSec02Z28 11.424 @ 119.26 (1.53), 02 Camaro Z28 M6, RAM, 4.56, 3300, 12/06

You have to take into consideration that the zo6 irs hurts it in the 1/4 along with wheel hop.... Solid axel is by far better then irs at the track in most cases.... Now tell me "it'llrun" If a stock internal ls1 car with m6 can run 11.424 why couldnt a car that makes close to 60-70rwhp go .3 faster? Obviously an auto would be much faster then an m6 and easier to obtain a timeslip with that time...

Yes it is but this is the fastest m6 to date on the SI list and is better matched with HIO since he is a m6.... the fastest stock SI car is a th400 and ran like a 10.8 in the quarter

Hios 11.17 pass was with ported stock ls6 intake. And hes on a 10 bolt. Wait till we see new numbers with the fast and a little more weight. And a little beter tune! So the non believers will realy have somethin to cry about with new times when he goes back to the track.

What is a "beter tune"? And why is it considered a little tune? You lost me here Goober.

Edit: I think you meant "beater tune". That would make alittle more sense.

I've pretty much said the samething before. Oh well, I think most guys understand the why and how now....but there will always be those few that don't or won't.

Hopefully! If I can catch a decent day I'll be looking for .2 and another 2mph. If the 10bolt lives.

If you're going to waste my time calling me out over something, AT LEAST know what you're talking about!

I never called BS on the cars ET... That wasn't the issue. The issue is whether or not he's being totally truthful. Now then, how is it that an LS1 matters here anyway?

Solid AXLE isn't necessarily better than IRS at the track when you can't launch the car hard due to the risk of snapping something, but aside from that, ZO6's are far more aerodynamic than an F-body, which makes it easier to go faster.

He put up a list of several ZO6's himself, showing similar ET's with what he said are the same or similar mods... But the one running quicker is the only one really up there where his mph is, and that, coupled with the slowest on that list being the only one with such a crappy 60' time, makes anyone question what he's really got to make that power. Why? Because his ET is down there near the quickest, but without that great short time. Those with his short time seem to be notably slower at the finish line. This makes it obvious, those other guys have the same kind of build, but can't match his power... Makes perfect sense...

The reason I had stopped responding is because I just don't care... It is what it is and if he's telling the whole truth(now we hear the intake is ported(which wasn't stated before), it's still off from most on his own list, and those are Corvettes, not F-bodies. It's kinda like pulling the plunger and knowing that toilet is gonna flush... but it seems to never stop flushing around here...

Once he gets back to the track, he'll probably have something worth telling people about... 11's, however... not a big deal.

What?? You wanna know about the intake? Of course those times were with the ls6 intake not the ported fast, I just put it on a couple weeks ago. But the ls6 intake was a pretty good piece. Same goes for the tb, I mean you know it's top secret **** when someone ports a tb. Well that is if it's someone else's tb. If it's mine I do this kind of ****. I have a machinist friend that likes to help me explore my possibility's. We put that tb on a lathe, turn that bitch till it has holes in it, epoxy that **** up and bore that bitch some more. Then we make a throttle blade for it. Then my buddy Phill takes that ****** humagus throttle blade and port the opening of the intake till the throttle blade falls through it. Just so ya know the factory throttle blade won't fall threw the intake openening if I remember correctly. I epoxy the intake up because now in has holes in it and then we port that sucka some more. When I put it on my car and logged runs (before and after) it showed I was using 6-8% more injector. Pretty good for some homemade ****......although no one told me I could'nt **** with the intake. I'm sorry guys, I broke all the rules.

Then before I run the car I take a big **** and jack off in the johnny blue 3 times to make sure my nuts are good and empty.....all in the name of speed baby!

That cracked me up. The sad thing is I know some guys that would try that if they thought they would gain something from it.
