A good friend of mine a small block looks fairly stock and not overly loud. Unlike ur friends car it runs 8's....... in the 1/4. Loud is just that, noise. Beautiful car tho I def dig it.

So now your 16 second 4X4 is a close race for a 14 second Mustang... Yeah, right... A factory stock 87-93 5.0L 5spd Mustang will easily run 14's with a remotely decent driver. 16's wouldn't even appear close from the distance of your driver seat.

That's kinda what I was thinking, but I left it alone. An old 5.0L would need some serious help to run with a 98-02 LS1. The only ones that even made it look close without good mods(the right ones) would say "COBRA" or have a snake emblem on the side.

Stock heads used, a power adder would almost be a mandatory requirement.

I think that it is hilarious that lt1's and 5.0's are now 16 second cars lol. Man have we forgotten. people get used to having a 13 second car and everything else is incredibly slow. No way in hell a stock diesel hangs with either, unless its a ragged out automatic fox gt.

His 2500HD has a LS6 crate motor in it and runs mid 11's

Like i said, it was more of us and a couple friends going out and messing around. The real race will be when his 93 MR2 build is finished.

Truck runs good from a roll..I said from a roll you uncomprehending idiot. A stock 87-93 stang might run low 15's 88-90mph in the qtr. They do not pull gret out the back. My truck runs 86mph and it's harder to 6k moving from a stop. It's a close run....and no it does'nt have a ls6.....I wish it did.

I would consider heads/cam/intake to be a few decent mods. If I meant bolt-ons then I would have said a few bolt-ons, but that's not what I meant.

No kidding guys. For once I'm with Hiho here. It is not hard to believe a 2500HD can outrun a 87-93 Fox body. I believe it 100%....

Wait for it

...They did come with 4 cylinders.
