My Bolton lt1 vs stock ls1?
I raced my friends stock, lid/catback ls1 from a dig and a 20 roll and both times I stayed with him. I actually pulled about a fender on the dig. Is this about right? They're both autos he has 3.23's and I do too. I have intake/cutout/longtubes/nitto 555 tires.

Ya it does, at the lower speeds up to about 90-100mph you would keep up and then the LS1 should pull on you. At higher roll speeds the LS1 should pull like from 40-50+mph. Thats my experience atleast having both LT1 and LS1 cars and racing them. Even with all the mods a stock and well maintained LS1 pulls higher numbers at the wheel. I had a bit more mods then you on my past LT1 cars and highest i ever dynoed on a dynapack or dynojet was 274 rwhp, stock LS1 cars are usually going to be higher then that even for an auto but not by a whole lot. Just depends some LS1's dyno better then others as ive seen the numbers all over the place. Good run OP

i pulled an ls1 camaro with the mods i have in my Trans Am from 60-120 by about a car so, its not unheard of...and definitely a stall. made a big difference in my car. not sure if you'll notice a huge difference from 3:23 to 3:73...

Jesus, the LS1 is already starting off with
Much better flowing heads
1.6rrs
Better flowing intake
Better flowing exhaust manifolds
Thats just to name a few. Giving the LS1 the same bolt-ons argument is played out. To an LT1, the LS1 is already starting off with bolt-ons.
Put a stock LT4 against a LS1. Bet the LT4 wins more times than not.

All LS1's don't run the same and you can account for driver error. Going from a dig anything can happen. I have owned both lt1/ls1 and I can assure you ls1 is a completely different animal. My car bone stock would have put 3 cars on your car in the 1/4 mile and than pulled away hard up top. My friends bolt-on lt1 wasn't even close to my stock ls1 and than my friends cam/bolt-on lt1 couldn't run with me when I had a lid and cutout. When I had my cam/bolt-on z28 I was getting pulled by almost stock ls1's. Takes alot to get an lt1 running like the ls1. I know from personal experience. Now I also had a friend with a 383/cammed/bolt-on lt1 that gave a good suprise to alot of ls1's!

Who gives a ****? "What if" or "equal mod" discussions are retarded. The cars raced with what they had, we got a result, end of story. If the LS1 comes back with those mods, then it's fine to talk about it.
I bet not.
Stock LS1 rockers are 1.7 btw, not 1.6.

2001 LS6 cam
207/217 int/exh @ 0.05" duration 0.525" / 0.525" int/exh lift 116 LSA
2002+ LS6 cam
204/218 int/exh @ 0.05" duration 0.551" / 0.547" int/exh lift 117 LSA
Seems to be a good bit of difference.

I used to have an LT4 vette. I never ran up against a stock LS1 anything that out ran me at the track. I was running a consistant 13.0-13.15 @107-108. I am sure there are some stock LS1s that run better times but, like I said, more times than not.
