I don't know why everyone is flaming this guy. I've raced girls and v6s before. In fact, I had a smoking hot girl revving and flooring in a 2000ish stang GT, so we raced. I don't see the problem here, it's all for fun anyway. And girls are generally a bit naive about cars anyway, so it's fun to tease them a little sometimes.

I'm not going to **** all over your kill thread like some of these guys, but some fair points are made. Your story reminds me of when I was driving across Iowa in my 06 Eclipse GT, which is a great car for long trips and has some decent passing power but, yeah, not a muscle car. I come across a C6 Z06 cruising at about 50 mph on the freeway. I go to pass and the yahoo driving guns it. OK, move back over behind him. He slows back down to 50, go to pass him, guns it. After about 5 times, I'd had enough and go well over 100 trying to end this nonsense, but of course he was driving a Z06 and I was in an Eclipse. I had to go 30 mph for about 15 minutes before the jack *** lost interest and moved on. It was so frustrating. I don't road rage, but if I'd had a handgun I may have waved it at the dude.

Did it cross your mind that maybe speed doesn't matter much to some people? Maybe she liked the looks/comfort of the car, and decided she didn't need to worse gas mileage, extra power, and higher sticker price of the SS.
If she really cared all about speed, she would have spent her money on a car that's all about speed, then run circles around your stock-ish autotragic 4th gen.
Just saying, since you said it felt good to show a V6 how much faster your car is.

I would love to get a shot at a 5th Gen. SS. I know in my current form an SS should beat me, but I still wanna see how I'd do.
