Well I am still waiting for that to happen... because I have raced plenty including my brothers 2000 T/A ( headers, intake, tune ) and have yet to have one pull me...or the fact that I have had 2 4th gens and a C5 vette and I know what they do! I just raced a ws6 T6 with headers, intake and a tune... blew the start and stilled pulled him in the top end and won the race. So like I said, you think you can put headers on your car and beat my 12.60 lets see it. I have been racing for 16 years and 2 4th gens and a c5 vette later I am in a 5th gen, theres a reason for that and its not just because its a nice DD!

I said the new Camaro is a good DD with performance, but not the same straight line performance capabilities of an Fbody.

dude just admit the point of all your posts was to turn this into a 4th gen vs. 5th gen argument. All i added was a cam that is similar to an LS3s still stock exhaust and i'm sure my car would pull on yours. If I actually heated up my all-seasons i'll easily cut a better ET too. There are plenty of 4th gens running faster than you with lid/headers. I honestly don't know why you want to make this ugly but if you want we can do it.

So because you beat one or two F-body's now you can beat all of them? 9 out of 10 times a well driven Fbody with the same mods as your car will beat you. Face it, your weight hurts you more than you want to admit.

O.p. I think you need to go race a new 5th gen and get real results, and not base your facts off of the Internet. Stock for stock a 5th gen has just as good straight line abilities as a 4th gen. Sure the new one has IRS but the 4th gen has a crappy ten bolt. And who said anything about the newsstand being built cheaply? It's smaller than the camaro, hence it's lighter weight. Just because I prove a point does not mean you need to get defensive and try to turn the tables. Gtfo with that.

Hmm, considering the 1/4 mile time on the 5th gen is around 13.0, and many stock LS1 F-body's can also hit a 13.0 I would say the F-body is more geared for straight line performance. That's what I base it off of.

Try racing a M6 LS3 5th Gen with a good driver from a roll and a dig with equal mods. He should embarrass you from a roll. Those M6 LS3 5th Gens roll out compared to an F-body from a roll.

I love that... theres a guy that ran this response You run mid 13s, you put headers on your car and you have more mods then me! You think your going to run mid 12s Sorry your in such denial... in case you didnt hear me the first time I OWNED 2 4th gens and my brother still has his! I didnt beat a few, I have beat every one I came across and have ran much faster in this car with just headers then ethier of my 4th gens or my brothers! Yes there are some really fast bolton 4th gens but thats not your avg. guy driving down the street! This car from a roll will destroy you... my friends stalled LS2 auto goat runs 12.60s also, from a roll I kill him... at the track we run even becuse he gets me off the line but I run him down! You keep telling people to grow up... yet you have no real experience racing and your going to claim what a bolton 4th gen can do to a bolton 5th gen because you read it online! Get your headers put on and come out here and see what happens in the real world!

again, you are basing this off of the internet. this is like me telling everybody my car runs 13 flat because i watched a youtube video of another one that did. but if you or i were to go run one right now, both of us would get beat. the only factor that would make it close would be driver. average driver in 4th stock 4th gen vs. average driver in 5th gen ends up with the 5th gen on top everytime.

I dont care what avg is all I know is I run 12.60s with headers and all season tires, not even the P zeros! So just because your at the track with worthless drivers dont mean thats all the car has. My intake is a 40$ piece I built in my garage and it did nothing for my track times, so my only mod is 350$ budget headers and I am in the mid 12s... so whats your point, only thing you proved is most people you raced around cant drive! I dont even think I am that good of a driver myself, my car with a GOOD driver would be 12.40s! I dont even power shift or redline the car yet. Give me under 1000da and good track prep and 50s would be easy!
