Why do you think that?

That last run was just you earning your doors back from the last time I cut them off on the street. You can hold onto those nice white doors for me but I plan on hanging them in my garage next time out.

Woah buddy, 3.55 gears Shoulda let me know and I would have given you my stock gears instead of throwing them away.

Yea right, I thought I saw you cut your car off and lay the keys on the dash when I was at the 60' mark.

That was my distraction technice to get you to redlight seems to have worked. I actully havn't really decided witch to go w/ yet. I'm actully leaning more towards the 3.73's. The 3.55 seem like they would be good for hyway rolls. These are my choices. Check this out for comparison.

Yeah. 6000rpm rev limiter. This was calculated on 275/40/17.

Yah you'd like that wouldn't yah. I figured w/ 355tq and 3.73 puts me at 3932 foot pounds going thru my trany if I had a stock tranny w/ 4.10's w/ 355tq I'd be pushing 3871 foot pounds. So in conclusion 3.73 would be a tad bit more agressive then a stock geared trany w/ 4.10's. I think I've made up my mind thanks to you for bringing up a good point of raising the limiter. I was concerned of not enouph speed in 4th gear.

No I'll give you your dig race you wanted on the street but I'm mounting the m/t. When I buy the rear end it will be assembled and I need to choose a gear. This is the reason for it. Plus you wern't completely honest about your mods remember.

If thats what you want go ahead. I won't stop you. I'll just have to step up my game some more. This is the only way that I can compete at the strip onless you just want me to stick to the roll racing. If thats the case it would be pointless to compete against each other cause I am setup for the street and your for the stip.

I think he has the C5 Z06 trans though so it's not the same as it would be for us with our stock gearset.

I liked my 4.10s but I got sick of busting teeth off the ring gear on street tires.

4.10 is to much gear for a ls1...not enough rpm to really utillize it. These are'nt gutless 4.6's that have to have the gear to make up for not haveing good useable power. Sepno is on the right track. I would love to have a 3.73 with the gear of his t56. It would take off good and then the gear would let it just keep on pulling.

Can you imagine how bad stoppys car would be backing up from a roll about the time he shifted to 5th with his 4.56's and Sepno is right in the meat of 4th gear....It would look like stoppy drew the ebrake.

Have you ever tried reading out loud what you type and then asking yourself if what you are about to post makes sense? Just curious
