Idk why either. They work and I guess the price justification. $100 per tire for something he can drive on everyday or $150-200 for tires that will wear quick. He spends most of the time at the track anyway

This. Unfortunately it's the majority of the honda crowd and that ruins it for legit guys like lightningteg and the guy in the video.

Because of this i've always wanted to build a ratty, riced out hatch with a built motor and spray. Something to hunt the rice hunters, but i could never justify the time and money for such a silly project. Would be a lot of fun though.

Then you'd have all the posers cream their pants at that mere thought of a killer hatch.

If there is one thing I can't stand more than a pepboys ricer, it's a close minded v8 guy with a loud mouth exaust. Those are the guys that would make easy prey for you.

My house 10 minutes ago...I think you are looking in my windows! This is my winter project... lol. Everybody knows Civics are slow shitboxes, right?
I'm using progressive nitrous and.... AN AUTOMATIC! lol
It's cheaper than you think as I already have the fuel cell and most of a system laying around. Long blocks are cheap.

FYI....when you can't shift your trans because it won't hold up......then guess what???? It don't hold up.

I have seen far to many break at the track and waited far to long for clean up crews to clean the track to think these things hold up for very long at all.

Nope... @450+ whp the manuals are a hand grenade... inconvenient, but cheap and easy to swap. the LSD or spool makes them even weaker from the increased traction

The auto might hold up....with a big cooler, very short bursts and

frequent fluid changes....
(Hopefully for a few thousand miles...lol)

I'm gonna be as nice on it as I can... at least it's not dragging around 3 or 4000 lbs...

I'll let ya' know come spring.

If you have to baby it any tranny holds up. And the car hooks at a high enough roll which is what he only does on the street and it has boost by gear. With the right amount of money/builds you can make anything fast. Its a sleeper to most people on the road. And is a clean integra thats not riced out.

350hp more, a better power to weight ratio, and only a 950lb difference? And the Integra wins? Eh.
