Nice run with the M3. We have a HPF built M3 here. It makes 700whp on his race tune with race gas. Upper 500s on regular pump gas.

I still don't understand why so many honda/acura guys build these monsters and leave an open diff/stock trans behind it. Good runs though. And did the m3 have enough cameras stuck on it?

Theres not many options for us in terms of transmissions. Stock will hold 500whp all day, and if it blows its easier to just pick up another one for a couple hundred bucks.

Interesting, I would have figured as big as the Honda afteermarket is that there would be sizeable amount of parts like that.

This,

I love those hpf m3's, but I've never seen one perform nearly as well as the car they are racing against with considerably less whp. Those m3's, but be very peaky and only hit hp right at the tippy top of the rpm band when it's too late because your throwing it in the next gear.

I highly doubt its a open diff. and i have known the kid that owns the teg for 5 years now. The car moves out. And stock the trannys do not hold 500whp. that integra broke a couple trannys under 400wheel if i remember right. and for tires he runs nitto neo gens. Its a quick car

I do call bs on that car running all season tires. front wheel drive with 205 all season tires with that much power would not be able to go WOT until 140mph at the very least.

Yes stock trannys hold 500whp lol. The trans in my car has been going strong at above 400whp for 3 years now with plenty of track time on slicks from the previous owner.

In Gringos own thread:

Neogens are 280 wear all seasons, I have the same on my Integra now. Our ecu controlled boost solenoids also allow us to ramp up boost with speed, rpm, or gear or a combo of all three for maximum traction

Probably 4th gear. I know the K series trannys have that issue alot once you start making big numbers

Yes, they do support 500whp with out shifting at wot. And you cant slam them in gear like a top loader or syncros **** up. But they will live if driven right. And they offer spools, lsd difffs etch.

Nice runs, I am going to assume this was in WA. Since that is Pacific Raceways lol and that HPF is also in WA.

Wonder how that Integra was hooking on street tires so well.
