Surprised at the outcome.

M3 didn't seem like it was making 1k. Still a damn fast car though.

If you stick with stock axles and can learn to launch without breaking them you'll never bust the trans because the axles will always go first.

At high rolls with sticky tires and a **** ton of power (550+) you'll start stripping 4 gears. Impact loads crack the case and thats the biggest problem.

You can beat the **** out of the synchros, thats what they are their for.

So a 1k whp M3 can't beat an integra that traps 132? Sounds like a shitty setup. Either way props to the Integra for being pretty damn quick.

Car can move thats for sure!

That M3 had alot more more weight. That race from a 40mph roll is kinda goofy but whatever.

Im not into most of the rice cars just because I dont feel they are comfortable. They are gutted to be light and have thin interiors. Ill cruise in my 3800 pig and just make up for it with HP. To each their own.

I threw an extra 40 lbs of sound deadening into mine and Its great inside. why does everyone think that because its 2600lbs its a rattle trap?

The integra interiors are also alot better then anything GM made in the same time span imo.

Did you have the interior redone? Like the seats with red stiching

No that is a stock Integra type R. Really only difference vs base models interior is the red accents on seats and badges.

I have lame tan =/

Lol. Interior really has nothing to do with crashing. Feeling comfortable is one thing. Crashing is another. For instance, take this F150 here. Big truck right? Or big bitch?

And here's a F body. Ooh, this looks pretty bad.

A rattle trap was my friends 2060 lb civic hatch. 2600 isn't that light in the honda world.

I like how you compare a Type r top of the line in honda world to a rs base *** camaro with cloth. And hondas feel like **** over 100mph. I got to ride in that green integra when it was at 400whp and it felt sketchy and ive been im my friends old hatch at 130 and it felt like its getting ready to fall apart. And all of them had a full interior. they may be fine for driving around town to the store and back but are sketchy as hell at higher speed

4th gens had 5star safety rating. The occupancy compartment held up good in that test.

Funny observation and I don't mean this to be a *****, maybe a little cynical. We give the nod in the video to the Honda which makes some say it's due to the weight savings being a reason which is a very good point. Its followed by it being an implied rattle trap, then followed by crash testing stuff. What has SRK come to that we even give a crap about crash test ratings and rattling being any sort of asterisk mark in a race?

Honda won*

*it's a rattle trap and isn't 5 star crash rated which means its still FTL!!

Come on will you know better than anyone, This is SR&K, where backing up claims with any form of logic need not apply!

Sorry, but its not much different. SS to Type R

When you add 1000 lbs of course its gonna feel more stable at high speeds. But I disagree that its scary past 100mph. Bigger brakes, good suspension and nice tires go a long way.

I drove my buddies Z28 around and its a completely different experience. You really need to drive something like an Integra to appreciate how much better a lighter car feels. Everyone who has driven my car comes back saying how fun it was.

But I couldnt see myself ever driving a stripped hatch.
