Default My H/C/I LS3 Camaro vs LS3 Corvette vs Twin-Turbo G37s (lots of Vids)

here are vids of my H/C/I LS3 Camaro VS a twin-turbo Infinity G37 Sedan and a 2008 LS3 Corvette

Camaro (M6): Ported heads, tsp cam, fast 102, bolt-ons, street tuned, 3900#.

Corvette (A6): Headers, catback, dyno tuned, 3200#.

G37s (M6): GMT Twin-turbo, tuned at 12psi (but he was seeing 14psi), 3400#.

all cars running DRs.

First Vid is my Camaro vs the TT Infinity G37. My car was not tuned here (23deg timing and a little rich, old cons. tune)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fbXVSotNfY

1st Run - 50mph (G37 hit it first, Camaro missed 4th)

2nd Run - 50mph

3rd Run - 25mph (G37 hit it first, Camaro span a little)

all runs were up to 150-155mph

------------

2nd vid is after I got my car tuned. went with a little more timing and leaned it out a little bit. as you can see car performed better. still kinda cons on the tune.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COCSMrGMYWc

1st Run - ~28mph (Camaro span a little, G37 missed 5th)

2nd Run - ~31mph

3rd Run - 50mph (Camaro missed 4th)

4th Run - 50mph

5th Run - ~22mph

6th Run - ~22mph

runs were up to 150-155mph last 2 runs were up to 175mph!!

-----------------

3rd vid is My camaro VS the LS3 corvette. This is with my old tune. (we will be running again to see the difference with the new tune.) the corvette was dyno tuned few hours before the race.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kd1zQ44jgSI

1st Run - 25mph (Camaro span a little)

2nd Run - 25mph (Camaro missed 4th)

3rd Run - 25mph (Camaro missed 4th AGAIN)

4th Run - 50mph

5th Run - 25mph

6th Run - 50mph

all runs were up to ~145mph

-------------------

4th vid is the TT G37 vs LS3 corvette

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sj0rePHymLw

1st Run - 50mph

2nd Run - 50mph

3rd Run - 25mph

runs were up to 185 - 190mph!

lots of fun. a little disappointed with my Camaro, but the G37 is freakin Fast and lighter by 500lbs. I think the outcome will be much better against the vette after the tune adjustment on my camaro. The corvette guy had to leave thats why we didnt run after the retune. but we will probably tomorrow.

Enjoy

Excellent videos. Subscribed. Is that G35 on the stock block or is he built? I know the HR's can handle 12's lbs but I'm curious.

Stock block. I am very impressed with that car. but not surprised. a car with that much power and 500lbs lighter should preform very well especially that the weather was GREAT (high 50s)

yea we went way over in some runs (the 175 and 185 was not really necessary, but we wanted to see how far the G35 can go before the vette can pull on it, looks like up to 185-190mph LOL)

I knew the outcome before racing it. with the power that car makes and the 500lbs weight difference, it wasnt a big surprise for me. That car performed VERY well. I really had fun.

Nice videos but I thought a H/C/I LS3 Camaro would of done better against a Bolt-on LS3 C6

as mentioned. car was on a very cons. tune when i raced the vette (low timing and rich). also my heads are only ported not milled. the gains are really minimum. cam is not a very big cam. car put down about 473whp!!!!!! yes low number on a dynojet for a H/C/I LS3 Camaro. also weight difference!!!

but I agree. I thought I will be beating the vette... that just show you cant really mess with Corvettes haha. hopefully I will get the chance to run it again with the new tune.

I doubt it lol. that money will be going straight to the bank to pay off some loans. the new TT vette took all the money and MUCH more... no more money on cars my bank account hates me....

as much as the turbos can handle. we are expecting 1000whp. car made 820whp @ 14psi with the 402ci. but its a whole new setup now except I am still using the same crank and cam.

Sick cars. Was the road or highway to/from Doha? I remember driving there 3 yrs ago and freaking Pajeros were passing me like I was standing still... and I was going 100 MPH in a truck.
