Most of the serious street guys around here rock the Toyo R888

What he said. I've run Mickey Thompsons, BFG DR, Hoosier DRs, Hoosier R6 road race tires, and now am on Toyo R888's. I can't launch as well as on the DRs, but my Z06 is also a handling machine and the R888's are the best compromise so far for the street.

What size tire are you running? Last I checked the r888's the widest they come in on a 19 inch rim is a 305.

I'm running 335/30-18 on reproduction 18 x 12" wheels. Their shorter diameter gives me a little gearing advantage. Makes my 3.42:1 rear "act" like a 3.58:1.
