How short are the buses in your town?
Decently driven 3v in average conditions can easily break 14s.
You always make up 1/2 second and 5 MPH on all the cars you race?
Or just Ford products?
Something doesn't add up or you just run into bad drivers all the time. (possible)

On one particular day at the track, there was a Ford GT running, he couldn't do better than 10.50, 1/8th mile. I ran 8.9 when I was stock that night.
Can I claim that I never lost to a Ford Gt at the track?
That I can take them no problem?

Thank you. I don't know where some of these people live... any sort of decent day, with somebody who has owned the car more than a couple weeks, a 2V can run BOTTOM 14s. And yes, some have run 13s on great days. The 3V is a mid-high 13s car all day long. But good kill OP, **** happens on the street.

My 2V was a pretty fun bracket racing car. Consistent, and easy to launch. Other than that I hated it lol

Yeah, mine was ok with the suspension mods and bolt-ons. Would have been more fun with LTs, 4.10s, and a tune.

i also own a grand prix gxp, and have raced 05 and newer gts and the last one i raced was from a 50 roll on the expressway i would only win by a fender and at most a half a car each time. These gp are not fast ive lost to a stock 05 silverado ss that weighs 2000 pounds more than me. i call b.s

I was talking to a guy last year at the track with a Roush Supercharged V6 Mustang. (Very cool car) He was beating his buddies GT all night...still only ran a best of 14.1.

I'm not a Mustang hater though...I really wouldn't mind owning one But I need a 4-door.
You must have never heard of the supercharged/turbocharged 4.0s that run 11s and 12s?

Pretty sure that the V6's never came stock with a supercharger or turborcharger. So no, no stock V6 Mustang could break 14's. Until the 2011 Mustang with the new V6.

And he's wrong. All of the GT's from 2005 and later can easily break into the 13's.

An '05-'10 V6 could run high 14s with the right options, but most were low 15s.

Which "options" are you referring too?

I guess I should have said "low options."

Well he brought up a roush charged v6 that couldn't break 14s so that's why I brought up the supercharged/turbocharged ones that run 11s and 12s

I was just giving him a little ****. I'm sure the GTs can break into the 13's (It'd be a shame if they couldn't) I just have never seen it. And again, I'm talking stock w/ street tires.

But to say that they can EASILY do it is a bit of a stretch. To say that would mean that it doesn't have to be a perfect run...which it will have to be.

And are you saying that a factory optioned V6 Mustang can run 14s?? This I have to see! (I know the new ones can...but '10 and older??)

Wouldn't have to be a perfect run/day at all for an '05-'10 GT to run 13s. As far as the V6s, I've heard of a handful of 14.8-14.9 runs, but it isn't exactly common. Not hard to believe though.

My 06 pony package auto ran a best of 15.1 or 15.2 at TAD which is a pretty crappy track so at a better track like SAR it might have broke into the 14s

Ok, I've heard from a couple of people that TAD is crappy now... when did that happen? It was pretty damn decent when I went there a few times back in 2003.
