How short are the buses in your town?
Decently driven 3v in average conditions can easily break 14s.
You always make up 1/2 second and 5 MPH on all the cars you race?
Or just Ford products?
Something doesn't add up or you just run into bad drivers all the time. (possible)
On one particular day at the track, there was a Ford GT running, he couldn't do better than 10.50, 1/8th mile. I ran 8.9 when I was stock that night.
Can I claim that I never lost to a Ford Gt at the track?
That I can take them no problem?

Thank you. I don't know where some of these people live... any sort of decent day, with somebody who has owned the car more than a couple weeks, a 2V can run BOTTOM 14s. And yes, some have run 13s on great days. The 3V is a mid-high 13s car all day long. But good kill OP, **** happens on the street.

You know what V6 & a GT Mustang have in common?
Neither can break 14s!!![Engarde](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies3/engarde.gif)
I was talking to a guy last year at the track with a Roush Supercharged V6 Mustang. (Very cool car) He was beating his buddies GT all night...still only ran a best of 14.1.
I'm not a Mustang hater though...I really wouldn't mind owning one
But I need a 4-door.
Neither can break 14s!!

And he's wrong. All of the GT's from 2005 and later can easily break into the 13's.

Well he brought up a roush charged v6 that couldn't break 14s so that's why I brought up the supercharged/turbocharged ones that run 11s and 12s

But to say that they can EASILY do it is a bit of a stretch. To say that would mean that it doesn't have to be a perfect run...which it will have to be.
And are you saying that a factory optioned V6 Mustang can run 14s?? This I have to see! (I know the new ones can...but '10 and older??)

Wouldn't have to be a perfect run/day at all for an '05-'10 GT to run 13s. As far as the V6s, I've heard of a handful of 14.8-14.9 runs, but it isn't exactly common. Not hard to believe though.
