Mid 12's in a $10,000 Mustang with basic bolt ons and a ******* N/A 4.6L. You are comparing that to a brand new top of the line Challenger. I already win dipshit...

Not saying you made it up. Because anything can happen on the street. A stock 98 SS vert with the top down just gave me and an 03 Cobra a hard time this weekend. **** happens lol

Nice ricer excuse....Boo hoo who cares if its $10,000 or $100,000 pull your skirt down you vagina. its 4200 f*ckin pounds, with leather seats, touch screen, rear seats and the size of a tank and it still smokes your lightweight bolt on geared mustardstain....

bolt on mach 1's are a joke just like their owners. I was suppose to race a full bolt on geared and tuned mach 1 this past weekend but he sold it for an LS1....I wonder why

In stock form the 6.1 SRT-8's were not that impressive. I'm not saying my car can outrun it, but considering it's got 425HP it sure doesn't move like it.

I've asked you before to get someone with a stock 392 to meet me at the track...hasn't happened yet. Surely someone in Atlanta or around has a 392 they race!

What are the specs on your car? WHP? WTQ? Curb weight? 1/4 mile time?

12.52@112 is the bone stock record for a 6.1........425hp is not that much for a car that weighs 4300lbs.

Lol, please. I really don't want to start ****, but I think it's kind of pathetic how everyone clings to the fastest recorded time of their car in "stock" form. Fastest LS1 was what, 12.8 seconds? I really do not care.

It's a well known fact that in stock form these 6.1 SRT-8's were getting beat by the 5.0 Mustangs and even the 6.2 Camaros.

The fastest times show what the car is capable of in ideal conditions. There have been a handful of people who ran 12.7's and 12.8's in bone stock 6.1's. In stock form the 6.1 is behind the 5.0 and dead even with the 10''ss depending on who you ask. I dont race from magazines like some of these guys.

Heres another 6.1 running in the 12's bone stock. They are plenty capable of doing it but most drivers cant.

and you can say whats not impressive and all but bottom line is I have 3 mods and I run with lighter cars like 03 cobras and 5.0's

I agree with Nite. It just shows what is capable in ideal conditions.

Saying they get beat by a 5.0 doesnt mean theyre slow for 425hp. The 5.0 is 41xHP in a 3600lb shell vs 425hp in a 4200lb shell. Of course its faster, going by the numbers it should be a TON faster but its not.

As for the 5th gens, with all things being equal the LS3 is a tick faster and the 6.1 is a tick faster than the L99. Again not bad considering its the same power as a LS3 with 400 more lbs!!!

Id have to say it actully runs pretty damn good for only 425hp comapared to the others...

I dont get the arguments about weight and engine size. Dodge decided to go with more horsepower and not shed weight down....its all the same as going light weight with a smaller displacement engine.

There are lots of other things to look at aside from horsepower ratings, like actual torque and horsepower curves. I know the new RT's are really underated because they run low 13's but are only advertised at 390hp.

And stopsign...you post so much bullshit i think your actually starting to believe it.
