This was the first car to run that time... different car.
My buddies went 11.9 at 115. Da correction at sea level bring him to 11.7 at 117... right where these other cars ran. This is the norm... not freaks

Ok so your friend that don't know how to drive your car race you while you drove his boss but you couldn't manage to pull away? You don't know how to drive!

,
Well my car has done 12.5 @112 on a 2.0 60' just for reference.
I pulled a 3.31 M6 pretty good, probably 1.5 to 2 cars from a 45.
Then my good friend got a '13 w/ 3:73's. I have driven it quite a bit and it and I must say it feels very quick. We ran a few times but he kept missing 3rd. Up until then I had about .5-1 car on him if that. Can't really say the outcome since we couldn't get a clean race.
Took it to the track and I ran 12.7 @ 110.4 on a 2.0 in a 2000ft DA. bone stock. Definitely a strong runner, and I would say it would be a tossup between us two if he could drive well. Maybe me pulling a bit. People underestimate the cars.
Ran into a '13 Boss on the street. Dude launched bad and I got out a bit, he hit second and started a good pull before we had to let off. It was a big difference from the 2 regular 5.0s. He couldn't drive well either.
P.S. They are extremely easy to drive, the tranny's are like butter lol.

So the Boss was packed with passengers... and when the drivers were switched, it was dead even... so you KNOW you basically beat the driver... and you beat him at a handicap... and everyones saying the Boss are overrated?
Credit where due. The Boss' aren't a slouch, but obviously seems their manual trans' are.

the guy that owns the boss didn't drive anything after. the guy that recorded the race in the vid was the guy who drove my car after.

how many miles were on the boss? I know mine seemed pretty strong right from 40 miles... and my buddies felt like a roach until about 2000 miles. For some reason it seemed like his rings took forever to seat. Maybe improper break in at the factory.

it has around 3500 miles on it. i don't know what else to do--- the only thing i'm admittedly a touch slow on the 1-2 shift otherwise it just wont go in gear. the others are fine. had good launches, and shifted at 7250-7300 rpm. should i rev it higher? it feels like it's losing out after that.

Not sure about all of them traping 115 STOCK, i think thats in great air. A guy around here has one that pulled 2 cars on a 114mph car. The boss has x pipe, intake and tune. Stock id say that particular boss is probably a 112mph car. Also to add to this a local d00ds old full interior SS with driver (300lbs) with ported tb, lid and chopped off stock muffler traped 111. Its a freak occasion but it CAN happen.

A Boss trapping 112 in 1/4 in decent air with a decent driver means there is something wrong.
