You can do that if you feel the need.. but I have no problem watching you trying to drag my *** at houston raceway. I will be @ a race this weekend in baton rouge so this weekend is out of the question, however the following weekend I am game. We can do this for bragging rights and will be happy to post the video when its done.. win or loose. Oh and I forgot to mention.. this is a full interiored registered street driven nissan like my car right? And one more thing.. I want to make the record straight.. Aries's car ain't nothing special... you should have no problem beating it... but be careful... I think you are setting yourself up for giving a ricer excuse with that comment. Hey Milla,
Instead of an engine swap. Strap on a J.A.T.O. rocket to the top of your car. You'll be the fastest import racer in the world. That would shut up the whole damn forum and this topic!
Of course, Grey and I will have to work on engineering the car to stop at the end of the quarter.

Hey... don't forget, Im an engineer too!!! well, at least studying Mechanical engineering in school, but still a freshman but so is Gray...

Im not really sure exactly what the heck im gonna do, but im thinking if anything, maybe a 2.0 bottom end, and maybe a cheap turbo from ebay or a junk yard or something... not really sure though, but that rocket idea sounds pretty cool! haha...

aries, the original poster mochanic is the person that built my car. It is no secret what my car runs, so if you run faster than a 10.5 you MAY win.. but it will still be a good race. But anyhow.. if it makes you feel better, I spoke with Nurv99 and he will be there also so take a few bottles with you cuz I am sure you will need them

Damn they must of lied to us all then... Back when I was in school at WYO tech in 91-92 I remember Honda had just dontated a working model that demonstrated VTEC, and a history of its invention. Not to mention I went straight to work for Acura right after graduating, and then went to Honda/Acura school that also taught VTEC theory and operation.

So if they did not then who did, and why didnt they get credit for it and apply "their" technology to the first VTEC equipped automobiles?

No, while the guys at Autologic are good friends of mine, they had nothing to do with these 2 cars being built.

John built his own with a Co-worker of his. I built Alex's along with quite a few other 11 sec. full interiored daily driven Honda/Acuras.
You guys havnt seen nothing yet!!!


As for $5k 11 sec. Hondas, bring me a Civic SI that already comes with a DOHC 1.6L VTEC from the factory, and $5k and I will give you back a car that will run 11's on a daily basis with full interior and all accessories!!! Yes, a car that starts out running mid 15's!!! Hell, at least the LS1 runs 12's to start with... LOL
