flowmasters suck on every car. Not just f bodies lol. My point is if he has a full stock exhaust with a flowmaster on it, thats probably not the weakest link.

Flowmasters are not bad in it's proper applications. The ls fireing order is different and don't work well for a flowmaster on ls engines. The car racing is a f-body so I said these cars. I have changed out a flowmaster to anoth aftermarket muffler and noticed a seat of the pants difference with other wise stock exhaust. You could even hear the difference, you are familiar with that ....lmao

And ive still never seen a flowmaster not be a restriction. In every size they seem to flow a solid 150 cfm less then any other chambered mufflers. There just junk period.

I had a flowmaster muffler on my car, i ******* hated that thing. Nice kill OP, get rid of that catback and you will def see a nice gain in power, or just add an electric cut out to it!

I have. Me and my brother got my mother to order one for her stock '90 IROC 5.7L. We dyno'd it at 204rwhp then rush installed it, then matched IAT's and coolant temp to first run and ran it again. 239rwhp for a 35rwhp gain! We where both stunned by the gains. Just to double check, we threw his 5.0 IROC on the dyno right after that to see if it was a dyno issue but his SLP T-ram intake, K&N CAI, SLP headers, SLP cat'd Y, and SLPcatback IROC still only put down 220-sumthing rwhp. He was pissed. I proved the point by whooping his *** with my moms car on the ride home.

Flowmaster is a chambered muffler, just about anything you put it on will lose hp.

With that amount of mods, I would have figured the WS6 would have put more lengths on him than that. I think the MACH would need at least a supercharger to make it any kind of a race.. Good kill..

Cut and rewelded intake? So he shortened the runners? Just an estimate but he probably has a 340-350rwhp Mach if that's the case.

I don't buy the fm muffler argument at near stock power levels. my car went consistent 109 and a couple spinning 111s with a lid and fm 80 only. no tune and stock everything. 2200' da. I highly doubt even an open y at that point would've been faster. I replaced it with a 10 series. it's too loud. the car sounded great with the headers and ory thru the 80 tho.

I want to run a Mach

It says Johnson Co for your location....You would not happen to be in NC would you?
If so, I am up for a run..
