50 roll the 5.0 BARELY got the slightest jump... Ran it until the top of 4th gear when we let out... 5.0s front bumper was at roughly at my front tires.

We are going to get some runs in on the way to the track and even switch drivers in the cars... His shifts are just a tad slower than mine but I don't think it is going to make that much of a difference that will take every bit of "driver error" out of it.

Dude you really need to lighten up and come down off your ford gaydum. As far as I can tell most of the **** you spew is bs. No one one here is gonna believe how awesome Mach 1's are in n/a form. They were'nt bad for a Ford, but ****....that was the best they offered n/a up until the 5.0. They would have a hard time with solid lt cars.

Good kill Lemons.

No you other guys can continue you on sword fighting......phags...lmao

Good runs man the 13s seem to be a tad faster than the 11-12s.

I skimmed through....but Mystic... you trapped 105 in the 8th off spray?? That might be the fastest non-racecar 8th mile trap from an eaton cobra

Here is how my runs went down with all the cars ive raced so far. They are all 01-02s so they do have the ls6 intake.

01 Z28 M6 with lid longtubes off road y pipe and catback. Tubular k member. 16 inch rims

No joke i bet we raced 20x from every low roll possible. I smashed him every single race. After a few weeks of him making excuses saying he was spinning and said he would beat me from a 3rd gear roll. I gave him a 65-70 roll and the break and still walked past him till 130.

Next race 01 z28 a4 car lid longtubes off road y pipe and catback and tune 333rwhp. 17 inch rims.

We raced 4x i walked him everytime also. He was shocked.

Next race 02 ws6 M6 valant cai and no muffler ( it got ripped off) stock 17 inch rims

We raced one time i walked him also

Next race 02 z28 M6- lid smooth bellows longtubes x pipe and true duals and tune 350 rwhp. Its a hardtop car also. 17 inch rims

We raced 4x also....this was by far the closest run out of the F bodys. Evwry race i would jump out a fender or half a car and slowly pull each gear untill my tranny would **** up. On a clean full run i may have won by 1.5-2 cars max. His car runs good and he drives it well. I work with all these guys so its all in fun.

One race i forgot about.

G8- cai longtubes midpipe catback and tune and gto rims on the back witb drag radials. I dont remember the dyno numbers but it was pretty strong. We did 2 20 rolls and i spun my *** off and still put 4 cars on him till 115. I think he runs 12.80s at 108-109.

what was your 8th et and 1/4 mile et/mph? But really, the fastest ive ever seen out of an eaton cobra was 96 in the 8th. That was a solid axle/ported blower as well.

Or my car runs like it should and i can drive?

My kill on the 98ss is in the other thread.. Also 98 z with short throw, lid, and lts dumped before axle, i have a strong pull on him. 4+ easy..

Thanks guys.. I knew it would be a he'll of a race between my car and a 5.0. I have been wanting to run one since they came out. My *** hole buddy didn't even tell us he was trading, just showed up with it and was like go look st the tbss. He was close to getting a blown ctsv but landed on the 5.0 as another buddy already has a v for his daily. Nice for a daily, now he has two money pits! Lol

What do your race cars mph in the 1/8th?

god damn it... i hate knowing i drove my car to 8.13 in the 8th... I know of stock powered 4th gens that have beat me to the end of the 8th. You have me beat by 1.2 seconds in the 8th mile lmao. That alone would bring me down to 11.1 assuming my back half didnt get any faster.

What do stock 5.0s run on AVERAGE in the 1/8? Not magical numbers, what i would see at a normal track visit.

on a street tire/drag radial on a stock wheel? Or 15 inch wheel with big DR and hellish driving?

Ohio proved what a 5.0 can do with a 15 inch wheel on it and good driving/weather (12.1 at 114)

But the average 5.0 should not have an issue running 12.5 at 111-112 if the driver is competant. The GTs are able to 330 a bit better then the Bosses due to there overly soft suspension and less power.

Of course you will get those *** clowns who cant run faster then 13.5 in a new 5.0. Every car is like that though. Im friends with one of the guys whose run the fastest in a bone stock fifth gen on the stock tire (12.6 at 111). For every car made... i know a guy whose running awesome numbers, and a guy who is running terrible numbers... and both cars put the same power down.

As far as the 8th mile is concerned. They shouldnt have an issue running what i ran (8.13 at 90)... but my 8th mile was terrible for what i brought to the track.

Id say that sounds about right. I trapped 90... i should be 94-95... but my suspension/driving was heavily off the pace so really couldnt get the car moving... then again... im leagues faster then a stock coyote. Id say 88 is your number. 90 with good driving/air.
