Damn expected more from the gt500 looks like the base c6 woulda murdered it too.

And the GT500 starts cheaper then the ZL1 at 54k. Last loaded ZL1 at the dealer I seen was 71k. Markup was only 2k.
Not what I seen. Hell the older gt500's went for more than that. There was a ZL on our local dealer for less than $60k. ZL's don't have many options so I don't know how it would get that expensive.

Yea the C6 is a little faster im sure from a dig but the GT500 has a little more MPH. I'm sure it would have been a decent race.

I did ask the ZL1 for a run that Day in my C6 and he said "no i'll just lose anyway"
So i had to race him in the GFs 240 i built

Not sure where your pricing either. Someone go build these 2 cars on there perspective websites. Option them accordingly with the stuff to make the gt500 a viable track car.

Looks like from plenty unbiased reviews it has already beat the ZL1 on plenty of track testing.

And every drag strip test and real drives its destroying it. Hell seems zl1's are having a hard time out running tune x pipe boss's. Ya that's right they are losing to them and regular 5.0's let alone GT500 's

Then Hio calls the OP out for "bench racing" when he just said the ZL1's loss is IMPRESSIVE when you "break it down"

Lets not talk about STEALING the hit & calling it a holeshot...

Modded vs stock argument= you fail. Put a x pipe tune cai and the ZL1 will **** on a Boss.

Fact: 13' GT500 is faster in a straight line than a ZL1 ..what is the debate about?

Zl1 is disappointing 75k plus sticker. At least Gm should make it fast...

Factory SC 580hp 60+k car vs a 410whp 40k car n/a.

And no one has seen a ZL1 **** on anything yet.

Nope....but I could see the hit. The hit was as close as any other close street race could be.

There not performing as we all had hoped for sure. But they have no problems with 5.0's stock for stock. Mod for mod becomes a molly whoppin for the 5.0.

I looked at when both cars moved. The beep does not matter then. Last I checked 15 is right before 16 and 15.3 is .7 away. That is closer than the $14k difference in price ohio put up for a price difference. You mad that a car with 80 less hp and 200 more lb stayed about 1 car apart in a drag race?

Not many out yet. Usually the guys that make a car work don't their hands on them 1st. Stock for stock a 5.0 don't have 410 rwhp. You never compare apples to apples. The quick time for a stock ZL is 11.7. What's a stock 5.0 quick time?
