Default Cam Only Z28 Auto vs. Bigger Cam Z28 6 Speed VIDEO

Buddy of mine just picked up a 6 speed z28 and we ran last night. Here is the breakdown.

Camera Car:
2002 Z28
Bolt Ons
Long Tubes and Duals
228R Cam
3200 Stall
Build Auto
3.23 Gear

W/ 210lb camera man.

Opponent:
2002 Z28
Bolt Ons
Long Tubes and Y setup(I think)
234(ish) duration cam
6 speed
? Gears. We have no idea. He was told 4.10s but it doesn't feel like 4.10s.

20-120. Both spun on the hit and seem to have hooked at the same time. He hit 5th instead of 3rd I think, but I was pulling some anyway. Not a bad race overall. We ran twice but didn't get the other race recorded properly.
Here is the result:

We did, but didn't get the video of it. I maintain a slow steady pull on him.

Not trying to prove anything just posting up the 1 video we got for the entertainment of others.

I was wondering how the stalled auto did on a roll race. Sounds like it did good. Nice kill!

Nice job! Smaller cam AND through an auto, and still pull off the win

Hey everyone I'm the owner of the 6 speed car just joined this website. I checked the rearend it is 2.73 gears out of a v6 camaro. The aftermarket shifter came loose and when I Went to shift into 3 it was so loose it went straight to 5th :p it's fixed now. I now need to get a decent rear end under this car.

Yeah, I would like to find a ford 9 inch for this car so I don't have to worry about changing it again.

I believe what happened is the prior owner blew the rear end and found one that would work to sell the car.

kudos on film.

ouch 273 that sucks. I was gonna mention that stick cars w stock or higher (numerically) gears don't typically get moving until 3rd and esp 4th but that's null given his gears.

what tires are you guys on?

Good run fellas, sucks about that shifter though, would've been a much tighter run. Wanted to ask what the exact dual exhaust set-up was on the auto, sounded pretty damn sick.

9" swap is like a 2 hour ordeal. if it is one already set up to accept all the 4th gen fbody stuff.

you will need rear wheels with a different offset or a spacer. i believe the 3rd gen rears are narrower than 4th gen.
