I must say I use to hate the zl1 just because of its sub 120 1/4 pass in stock form. When you actually get to see one and been around some that have a few basic mods than I'm sure you all would appreciate it. It has a lot of potential and looks pretty sweet.

11.4 with a 125 shot,canned tune,cai,and cat back. Full Bolt On's FTW Bro!!!

You know whats funny? I bet your first trip to the track and you wont run an 11.4 with that $100K+ sports car.

So a mopar turd sedan with VERY MINOR bolt on's and a little 125 shot would have walked that super vette with the bigger engine and supercharger all the way down the track

How many BONE STOCK ZL1's have gone 11's? 1? 2? maaaaybe 3? (doubtful)

There have been more 392's running VERY low 12's bone stock than ZL0's running 11.9's. Yes i agree the ZL1 is the faster car by a very very slim margin. Which is why its a TURD. The car weighs the same and AT BEST et's 2/10's better and 2-3mph more with 110 MORE hp. That sir is pathetic.

Line both of them up at the drag strip and its a drivers race all day. Run them for a mile and yes im sure the ZL1 would get the win almost every time.

Line up a Auto 392 vs a M6 ZL1 and watch that 392 do work. PATHETIC.

Yes the ZR1 lapped quicker than the Viper (again who gives a ****). Down the 1/4 they were damn near identicle. Common sense whould have told you that being that both cars weigh nearly the same, make nearly the same hp, and both have 6 speeds not some fancy DCT with AWD.

All the testers said it lapped better purely because of better tires. Even the SRT engineers said they were caught off gaurd by how great those tires were on the ZR1...
Srt8 cars are just beast for what they are. 392 is just bad ***, expensive but bad ***.

Your very wise....I can tell. That's why you fail to think about driver experience/talent of the owners. This is where magazines come in and drive both cars with the same/equal drivers......nice try.
I don't consider magazine writers "drivers" most wouldn't know how to change the oil on the cars they drive..... A drivers car is one like the GT500, they ZL1 is for magazine editors that praise cars like the Prius and Accord.

If you think magazine articles are the final word in a cars performance, then there is zero hope of dragging you outta the cave in your parents basement.

It is heavy but runs harder than most of its competition. I really think dodge should make a sports car with that 392.

Lets see....540rwhp @ 3350lbs, sea level track. Meh, 128+ should be a cake walk!
Ok? Post 10 videos of them trapping 128-133 then. Ill be waiting.

I already know the 1 or 2 video you'll post of the 132-133. Pretty sure its either a black and/or grey car. Pretty sure it was in the dead of winter too at Atco. Probably pushed the car to the water box as well. See where im getting at? HERO RUN. FARRRRR from average.

Didnt the C6Z trap 129 in the same fashion? Only 4mph less than the same car with 120+ more hp. Yea the ZL1 and ZR1 are def brothers.

Very true. They are. IDK if the 392 is in the plans down the road but the Cuda (size between a genesis coupe and mustang) will have a supercharged 6.2. Much more potent than the 392.

Hopefully they would make a NA model with the 392. That would likely be in my price range not to mention id take NA over BLOWN anyday. Might not go as fast as easily but its much more rewarding imo...

Geee thanx for explaining ricer stage modding...cuz maybe some of the members on here have been living under a rock for the last 20 yrs....

Maybe I should make a roll racing joke....since you reference that in your signature surely you will get it...
LMAO clearly you are the one that is mad. You get caught trying to make fun of me with my sarcastic signature and you try to flip it and say you were just being funny. Then you continue being mad with the rest of your post talking like you are the only one who understands anything.

Btw, what is inbreed kids? I think you meant inbred, but maybe you were just being funny again.

Love 392s!! But a ZL1 is faster stock to stock and it is not slim sans on a hot day. ZL1 will kill it on the twisties and it has more aftermarket parts for it. ZL1 is still a disappointment though..

First they ignore you.
Then they laugh at you.

Then you win.

Stock long block, 3,500lbs., 1,300' DA, N/A.

How many stock long block ZL1 or 392's have done that?

Its funny, my vehicle weight will be down close to 3150 and around 3310 with me in it. Having 200lb advantage, possible more power advantage, running in a better DA, with a max effort setup... id be ecstatic to run as fast as you. Car runs strong man

Saying that is liek sayingthe 5.0 and 392 is a drivers race at the track. Which it really is. Both have very best times of low 12's, and both average a lot of mid 12's. and then both have a lot of high 12 and 13's. With the mustang being lighter, and the 392 having a hpand tq advantage.

Easy LOL Why so mad? Just because he's from Utah, doesn't mean he's got 48 kids. I guess I got 48 kids too then I'm from Utah. But I'm part black, so I could have a few out there. Sneaky **** busting nutz in guys wife's LOL....just some humor. Back on topic, I would love to own a ZL1...road course only. They are over weight and under powered for the straight line scene.

So you comparison with 2 totally different drivers is a better comparison??? When you have no idea of their capability or experience?? You have to be smarter than that.....well maybe not.

Actually it's already been done.
