What was the DA? I wonder how a cammed/bolt-on LS1 feels that my bolt-on LT1 stilled ET'd better than him in 2700DA in the thick of summer humidity

No, I think I was texting some people trying to make plans for later that night. 18 back then, young and dumb

My best friend had a great reaction time and looked back like, "wtf, I didn't think I'd beat you that bad..."

I had an epic 3 second RT during a midnight mayhem event... I realized the lights dropped when the srt4 next to me took off. I was spacing into the crowd for god knows what reason. I don't give a rats *** about RT though... I still hit my goal.

No doubt they can be made fast as hell. The one I raced was stock, and was in another group of people riding at a place we called the sandbar. We ran approx. 1/8th mile or so down a dirt area.

Yeah i bet, cause modded up there the king. Can't think of another bike on par with banshee's in terms of racing.

I got a bunch of friends who have done some crazy ****.

They've built a 4 mil stroker with stock pipes lol people get super mad when they lose to that bike. Looks and sounds like a stock banshee and the thing goes high 90s with a 220lb rider in the 1/8th.

Cool thing about it too is with stock pipes the bike doesn't rev high its got a super broad power band and its basically a torque monster like a 4 stroke and you can stay in it like a 4 stroke without worries of over reving it and blowing it.

LOL! I would be pissed at the 1/8th mile track with a Banshee at my door at the end...

LMAO. My wife managed a better reaction time than that on her very first trip to the track.

Now she is quicker off the line than I am. Damn girls! Haha

who cares aboot reaction time when you're just trying to make a good pass? R\T means nothing unless you're racing someone.

What do you think he was doing for 1.5 seconds that was helping him make a good pass in his cam only TA? It's not like he was trying to spool a large turbo or something.

trying to set up a good launch? like I said, it doesn't matter if he wasn't racing anyone.

Normally I try to launch from a set RPM, once I stage I bring my rpms where I want them and occasionally adjust/prepare myself for a broken rear end.... I'm almost as bad as guitar so I'm sure he isn't far off.

He is picking up almost 26mph on the big end. The 60ft & shifting is killing the et but still the mph should be a lot better than 108. It could be a slipping clutch. I trapped 85 in the 1/8th in my 02 Z/28 with a lid, SLP catback, ported tb, and free mods. Never ran it in the quarter to find out what it would trap.
