Come on Guitar, post up the real time slip! Dig into your glovebox and you should pull out some slips with the good traps.
Not his car by any means..simply driver error. He does not race much and his car is really clean so he does not want to beat the hell out of it. I can totally relate to him.
Guitar, you did great, man! I could say in all honesty that I would not want to run against your car on the street though.

Anyway, some of us will be doing some mods and then heading back soon. We will let you guys know....or maybe we should set up something and take a ride over by you guys. I think you and GTOSpd might be a good run.

Yea..you should have followed us out, man. GTOSpd had already left about 1/2 hour earlier but it was the GTO, Vette and me. That would have been cool to do a couple of runs for the ride home.

But since homeboy wanted to blow my cover! I guess I'll post the real slip...this was leaving at 4k and dumping the clutch. Tire pressure 19ish. Didn't go higher, didn't think it would help. Can't really slip my clutch, and that didn't work on most of the other runs.

I was just focused on running that day. Only made a few tweaks to the car, should have done more. My car is staying as is until I hit where I want..then getting a little bit more. I am not sure if they are running Sunday or not - I will go if they are. I'm going to Benson tomorrow night.
TBH I really didn't talk to anybody that much, I was pretty focused on what I was doing wrong and trying to get a better ET...I said a few words to Mach and that was it (besides the dudes in our group), didn't even go look at the other cars that were there really. Sorry guys, lol. I'll be more friendly next time.

Edit: After I get some parts in and installed, I'll meet up with you at Dunn Benson for some runs. I gladly lose to a good runing LSx. I'll bring the GoPro too.

Time is better, but realistically, you went from ungodly terrible, to still bad.
You ran what healthy (stock cam) bolt on Ls1s run or even a cammed LT1.
Only you have an actual rear end (non 10 bolt) with tire and some sweet gears, so that makes it even worse.
Not trying to be a dick, but not sugar coating it either.

Where's your 11 second time slips? Everyone thinks they are going to go out and rip off an 11 in a stock car because they saw someone else on the Internet do it....it's not as easy as it seems. LSrob started out with a 1.99 60ft...12.97@107 on a drag radial...3 years ago! ...good numbers don't come overnight...especially in a manual car. Guitar had a better 60', better et, and better mph his first time out on a drag radial. ...and had the ***** to post the slips.
11 second slip? When did guitar run 11s?
Ill post up some times once i get some tires on my wheels.
