Default Mach at the track

Well it's not street racing but I did get killed every time.

Car spun HORRIBLE and missed 3rd gear and let out. Coasted to a 9.8@44mph

This was the best run of the day (obviously) and my best run to date. Was expecting to spin and short shifted 1st early which hurt my ET and especially MPH. Still a new best...

Missed 2nd gear. I gotta figure out if it's my stock quadrant, clutch, or what that is keeping me out of gears.

[pause @ .29 ftw ]

28 spline stock rear, stock clutch, stock trans, stock driveshaft, and stock quadrant.

I saw on another site that Z Max was closed today and every body was going to Mooresville.

Hey, I think that I have a NIB quadrant and adjuster if your interested. A friend of mine got out of the Mustang performance business and asked me to sell some of his left over stock for him.

No kidding. Talk about being a bummer when you get off the line good to only miss a gear. On the last run against the white new 5.0 I was looking to get that ET that would "put me" in the 11's. I had my 2nd shift set up perfectly but it just didn't happen.

Sweet looking Mach, looks quick. Have any other mods besides what's in your sig?

You might beat me off the line, but I'll pass you once you get into 2nd or 3rd gear since you miss those quite often, lol.

O/R X pipe

Going to do trans, clutch, flywheel, torque box battle boxes, driveshaft, longtubes, new exhaust, MAF, and tune next. Then going back to the track for some mid 7's and try for mid 11's.

not sure what to think about this........ where is the vid of the 7.7 run???

So you just figured you WOULD have had a 7.7 if you did not short shift????
