Mach at the track

Believe what you like but like i said most street bikes need space to run with the banshees down here. What do you think would happen vs your typical bike with typical rider? Its easy money.

I grew up riding dirt bikes and quads. Banshees are nasty as hell for what they are and will surprise a lot of people, but they only top out around 80mph stock. With gearing and mods you can hustle people in the 1/8th, but they are not hanging with a modern liter bike in the 1/4 with any amount of mods - never mind waving at Busa's.
I think you said the fastest one you know traps 130 in the 1/4. To compare, your average bolt on Busa will do ~125 in the 1/8 .

In the 1/8th they have an advantage against a noob rider on a 600 since launching a bike from a dig is ridiculously difficult unless its dropped and stretched. In the 1/4 a fully built and geared one may hang with a stock 600...but that is far from being able to beat most bikes - never mind Busas.
Advantage over a 600? How do you explain what happened in the vid a 1000 with nitrous beating a small stroker by a bike.
The one my buddy had trapped what it trapped in the 1/4 cause it ran out of gear a bit after the 1/8th. The racing down here like i said is 1/8th racing so that's what the bike was geared for.

Food for thought another bike in the group was a stock crank, home made "drag" port, override trans, with av gas and inframe pipes traped 109 in the 1/8 on a lay down setup frame and light jockey. With a 220-230lb guy and a stand up setup (trail bike) it went 98 in the 1/8.
The bike in the vid i shared is a smaller motor on race gas, not alcohol like my buddies old bike.
Like i said it takes a hefty street bike to take on some of these banshees.

Ive owned bikes since i was a little kid. I was building a banshee swapped blaster frame setup but i sold it to swap a motor in my honda, ever since then had no interest in it. But lately ive been in the mood for another dirtbike ill probably get one sometime in winter when riding gets good.

Everything Ive ever "heard" about what youre supposed to do with street tires.....Ive had better luck doing the opposite. I tried "30psi" and not doing a burn out since everyone says you shouldnt because they get "greasy". Well that **** lead me to a 12.5 at 121....NOT very effective as I had over a 2.0 60 ft. John force burn out got me down to an 11.81. It stuck but it kicked out on me on the 1-2 shift and i lifted and got back in it. Lowered the tire pressure a few times during the day working on eliminating traction issues.. I ended up at 8 psi and doing a john force third gear burn out. I rolled out at part throttle for roughly 10ft and matted it. Cut a 1.71 60 ft under full traction and ran 11.47. I figure on a 555R on the same stock wheel... i could have left 25+ psi in them and with the same john force burn out managed an 11.0-11.1 at 122-123 with a low 1.5X 60 ft. Atleast for the parts i brought to the track that day... car didnt have any rear end gear, race wheels, a fast intake, ewp etc... was literally a basic modded H/C car.

On another note, since we have some bike guys in here. I have a 98 Suzuki DR350 and want to make a little more power out of it without spending much $$$. What does the bike crowd recommend?
