Actually.. It is the 100% gods honest truth.

Kinda... LOL

The converter is WAY too large for this setup. I ordered my new converter yesterday.
It hits hard as **** but the shift extensions put me PAST my power band, after it shifts it falls completely on its face and has nothing.

The new converter will fix it.. It also will show a few more Rwhp higher on the dyno too. The converter in it now is a 5000.

If I was such a troll and contributed nothing...why am I still here? And again, who are you? You come out of nowhere and start attacking me because it makes you feel good about yourself or something? Lol. You're not trolling anyone - if what you are posting is considering trolling by your standards, you need a little bit of schooling on the definition. And didn't we go over this before? I posted that picture on THIS forum, by my own will - you went through my posts and thought you were a master detective when you found it - LOL, apparently you need the definition of that as well.

I can't convey the amount of ***** I don't give about what people on the internet say about me, especially some noob on a forum who is just trying to make a name for himself calling out someone established. All I see from you is . Some people have jobs, class, and lives to go to, and can't post on a forum 24/7.
Well according to the other guys on this thread I am trolling you, so take it up with them.

Yes, be amazed at my master detective skills, it took every ounce of my wit to find that subscribed thread I'm a part of and find your fat *** picture on there, it was EXTREMELY difficult to find you!

Interesting you talk about jobs, class, or lives when you made this post at 8:36 am. Don't most people have school or work at those hours? I know I was at work from 7-4 today, which is why my reply is coming in now. Might want to tone down the eating aspect of your life, since you have a life to live and aren't on here 24/7.

At least you aren't running similar to a stock LS1.

Konis are set on almost full hard in the rear and 4 ticks from soft (I think, maybe the other way around) in the front.

I think if I was running the same times as a stock LS1 and making 100WHP more than a stock LS1 I'd throw myself over a bridge.

Or lose some weight.

My car stock pulled numerous 13.1s and 13.2s... My trap was a disappointing 108 so he would get me there in e-bragging rights.

What are you running now?

Also, may I ask why you upgraded to the LS6 cam and not a better performing cam? I had considered doing this, but for such a minimal horsepower increase, you might as well get a good cam while you're in there. What was your reason?

I've only ran at Fayetteville once, and I didn't have a great experience. Track was ****. I was running 2-3 tenths slower in the 60ft all day.

No idea what it runs yet... hoping to hit speed inc soon for a dyno tune and the tracks aren't open yet so aside from 'its slow' I have no guesses. It made 324/341 with just FRA, I would like to see 370ish now but we will see.

Honestly I got the cam with springs/lifters and pushrods when I thought I had a bad lifter. I spent 200.00 total for the swap and it all had 18k on it iirc. I have a total of 800.00 in mods right now and it's my daily driver so a bigger cam isn't all that appealing to me. I average 25mpg per week and can still drive the 60 mile commute for work in the snow when needed. If I was after max power no way would I have gone this route but to be honest I really enjoy the car like this. My last z28 was a 95 and I was running a CC306 cam, built trans, shift kit, stall, 3:42s, full exhaust, 1LE AC delete, etc.. having something that drives just like it did stock is pretty nice for me.

Does the car feel or sound any different with the LS6 cam? Fuel economy was affected slightly with the LS6 came it looks like? I'm pretty sure the M6 LS1 gets 28 or so in stock form and you're down to 25.

Feels the same until 4500ish then feels stronger... past 6k obviously is better. Idle is a little different but most wouldn't notice it.

The m6 is rated 28hwy but I have a 70/30 mix and I play around a bit. I was getting 23/24 stock. The best I've seen was a 27 but that was a 300 mile interstate trip.

Sorry for the shitty camera phone video..

Thanks.. It's not much louder than stock until you give it some gas. Sometimes I think I would kill to have it sound like a GT though... Mustangs all sound so good even stock.

Yeah it's stupid quiet... It's really nice on the interstate/highway.. You can actually hold a conversation... On the other hand the only cars that mess with me are stock 5th gens (usually the v6 kind)... I'll see what the numbers look like before I worry about it though.

I agree. Those 4.6 2v's sound pretty good, even in stock form. But I'd never trade a 350HP V8 engine for a 260HP V8 engine...

Older Mustangs are all show and no go.

I agree with the first part, but the second is iffy, lol. In stock or mildly modded form, yes, but when major mods start happening they can get just as crazy as anything else.

The stock block is only good to about 400Rwhp.
