Maybe traction so can't start in 2nd gear in meet of gearing/powerband...It came around GTR it seemed. But EVO rolled out.

Lmao... As soon as I saw how long n how slow the Gt500 came around the Gtr, I knew the Evo was gonna make it look like it was parked! Lol

Sorry but that GT500 is sad. I could see the evo winning even with the GT500 getting decent traction, but it should have straight up walked the GT-R.

^agreed. Ill resort back to the fact that a positive displacement blower car making 1021whp... does not hook on a 19 inch wheel lol. So if this car was hooking... yea i call BS on said power. Either that or it is extremely soft in the tune to get it to hook.

I hate the idea of 1000whp on a PD blower in a street car. There is no way to properly manage traction other than putting big *** tires on the car. With turbo cars you can at least do boost by gear.

I'm no GT500 fan by any means and they typically need huge of amounts more power than the other car to win but 400+ to win? Come on, something isn't right here. Evan may be on to something.

Makes 800 rwtq, and I read some where that the run vs the Evo was from 70 mph.
Did not look like it launched hard at all when the race started.

Its not trying to take anything away from the GTR or EVO. But im willing to put money down that car does not make that power. 1000hp is thrown around so damn lightly on the internet. If that car really did make that power through that blower...even starting up a gear should have walked away from the GTR. Come on guys..

I agree.. We just stated what the owner told us. He did start in 3rd so it was dead when we took off.

Tell him whoever programmed the dyno did so to throw that number. Car probably has 800whp at PEAK with its PD blower.. It had so much trouble walking that gtr when it "hooked" and the evo just straight walked him.
