I think your in deep trouble if someone decides to go a similar route as your car with a Z28. dietcoke has his 5thgen to like 3200 with full interior.

Comparing your modded boss to a stock Z28 is pointless. Full bolt ons and weight reduction like your car. You might wanna trade the little boss in on a new Z28

Plus more car for the money. Hate to spend over 40k on a boss and be stuck with such a junk transmission. Aleast my GT500 came with a Tremec

Pretty impressive that a 10+ year old, A4 camaro with just exhaust can hang with the new coyotes. I remember when all the Ford fanboys claimed that the LS1's were going to need H/C/I just to hang with one. What a load of shiznit.

I hope you do know the z28 is going to be lighter than the zl1. You should try racing a modded z28. I'm sure you got a ls7 covered even a cammed full bolt on one but if your trapping 117 than most likely you will see tail lights. Lol

dietcokes motor also blows the stock ls7 out of the water... Dietcoke just has a fast car... period...regardless.

i meant 580hp... not whp. Point was that with 580hp at the motor, it dynoed 463whp with an air intake on it. Whats it gonna dyno with 500hp?

Thats just big hammer trolling... i trapped 117 last year on street tires with a bad setup car. 2 completely diff cars now. And everyone keeps hyping up the weight of the z28. Does no one realize its going to be 3800lbs? My car weighs 3200lbs. And i guarentee i make more whp then a factory z28. Its well known the vettes put more power down then the fifth gens with the exact same power plant. My guess is the new z28 will roll around 410whp on my dyno considering the vettes make roughly 430-435whp on mine.

I love how people are being so salty from my dig haha... i wouldnt give my car up for a z28 in any lifetime... a c6 z06 on the other hand... thats a different story.

you're right. a good set of slicks will get your trap up to 129+.

I was talking about the weight he got it down too. Since you've done what you've done to make your car run the way it runs. Not many 5.0s are doing what your car does with your mods. I think the new z28 will be a 118-119 mph car from factory.
