Close race. Looked like the Vette stole the hit on the first run and the GT-R was coming back. Both nice cars, too close to name a convincing winner.

OneSlowV, Yeah, no kidding. I'd say the 5.0 v LS1 thing gets more heated because they aren't high dollar cars so more people have had their hands on one or the other.

The one thing I don't get about the 5.0 vs ls1 crap is ur comparing a new motor vs a motor that came out in 98. Stock for stock the 5.0 is faster. That's a fact so why argue about it everyday? It's not gonna change.

Both motors take mods well and different set ups are gonna be faster than others. Both of em can be fast. Let it rest

I never said one motor was better than the other. I just love people on here that will talk till there blue in the face about there motor being better. And i thought it came out in 97 with the vette?

Anyway.. They are both good motors..and I'm a gm fan thru and thru but facts are facts and really it's silly to always argue about it... I'd rather argue which cam Is better for a certain set of heads kinda thing.

^^^ True. The GT-R has intakes and a midpipe with a tune on E85. It's fast but not as fast as a full bolt on car.

I will say kyle did pretty well granted that he panned the camera while driving. Kyle mentioned on the 1320video facebook that the second race was cut off short due to traffic.

Why should anyone be butthurt? I personally know 1320video. Good dude who knows his cars and has a great fast car.

The outcome of the race was fine for what mods were mentioned on the GT-R in the vid. Give it a rest.
