Definitely a sound kill! What kinda mods does it take to make a new explorer ecoboost run like that? Bet it's a helluval lot easier then what it would take for my GMC Acadia Denali to do that.

It just has a wicked tune on it and an AirAid intake as of now.

So does wicked tune mean you're going for max power rather than be safe?

I like to think my hhr surprises a lot of people, but if an explorer did that next to me I'd be like wtf?

Surprising. I wonder what the explorer makes for power with those mods. I would think that the STi would be in the high 2xx to low 3xxwhp range with those mods.

Just realized that it's the 3.5 in that explorer and not the 4 cylinder. When did they start putting those in the explorers?

In his defense the car has a cobb preloaded tune I believe. It was not dyno tuned. An explorer with my identical tune made 440wtq and and about 340whp. That explorer did not have an intake like mine does either.

I thought for sure he would have started pulling me in at about 85mph but I pulled to 115 before i let out. The 3.5 EcoBoost started in 2013 for the explorers.
