Does it matter if Gm has more warranty claims and warranty cost per vehicle than ford?

The topic is "400whp 5.0 vs ls1 camaros" moron, not shitty f150 problems, blown plugs, or your enchanting tales of GM going bankrupt.

It's a fact ford has more problems and recalls then GM. Just sac up and move on.

So since derp wants to talk n/a being the only way you can determine a motors potential 5.4 4v > 5.7 6.2 6.0. Without the extra cubes they can't compete n/a hell look at the new 5.0. It is every bit as powerful as the ls3 and is down by 74ci lol.

Looking at your link all the ford recalls were for ignition switchs and seatbelts. Looking at all the gm ones were for parts that actually render the car useless or caused accidents with injuries. Good call!

Still doesnt change the fact gm has a higher warranty cost per car.

You act like there's some secret recipe going on over there, all I see is DOHC and superchargers, combine those with an LS engine and see what happens.

Then take your blower off and prove it. You see that's where you ford guys start to whine. It's pathetic really. So far there is NO n/a modular builds from guys on this site worth a ****.

You really don't know wtf your talking about in the 5.0 vs ls3. Hell bump it up to the boss engine. CNC ported heads and cams netted it 20hp. Do you realize how mild a ls3 is compared to either???... well I guess not or you wouldn't make stupid comments.

You should....I would after having 3 blow out. Well actually I wouldn't....vehicle would be GONE.

Your right....multiple fires don't matter. Apparently you overlooked the fuel line issue.

They don't like when post up comparably boosted cars. They want to then handicap the ls by running same size blower on a engine that obviously moves more air and make similar power on less boost. That alone should give someone a clue.

Unless you **** a shift sideways (2nd instead of 4th at WOT) the rev limiter prevents over-rev... wtf are you talking about? Guys... I only got 156K out of my motor...hit the rev limiter too many times to count. Sorry to disappoint you all.

LoL, truck with almost 200,000 miles and it would be gone after it shoots a spark plug out and you have to repair one spark plug hole for $45?

That doesn't seem logical to me.

Imagine that. Now we actually have something to wonder over.

You're just like Hio... you know people who have problems with their Fords, but when someone says they have a problem with their own GM, you claim they don't... Who the heck are YOU to know about someone you've never met? The guy could be lying just like you, but why judge so harshly?
For the first part: pretty sure the last reading I did had testing done and found poorly manufactured gears/synchros were the leading cause. I am also pretty sure I read that some minor changes were made to the transmission. Sure it could be coincidence that I just happen to know 3 people who got junk ones...and obviously a lot are fine but I find it humorous that the Ford boys are quick to jump on the "you must have done something wrong" bandwagon despite how many kick the bucket. A lot of 4l60e are "fine" too, doesn't make them a good transmission for performance cars in stock form nor does it mean every one that breaks was an owner's fault.

For the second part, I would like you to find one ******* instance where I told someone who was having a problem with a GM that they "weren't" like you claim. I will be the first to admit just how ******* shitty a long list of GM stuff is, most notably when LT1 fanboys try to downplay what junk optisparks are along with everything from the T56 tailhousing and back on an Fbody.

I also won't defend Hio for a single second and agree with you there.
I could overlook the fanboy behavior but according to him every cammed ls1 on tech that weighs over 3000lbs "runs bolt on times". So I def see how he rubs people wrong.

Find it very amusing you accuse me of being a Hio level GM nutswinger when I was one of the few in here just a week or 2 ago breaking the bad news to the lid/catback LS1 crowd that a 5.0 would drag their *** up and down the street unless it was piloted by Helen Keller.

Ford still puts the shitty 4.6 and 5.4 2V in the E-series vans.

You REALLY, REALLY need to shut your mouth when it comes to Ford. You're obviously clueless.

I think I would have done pretty well against a stock 5.0 with lid/catback. Not saying I would win but I'm not sure I would have been destroyed by any means. Of course 5.0s are not pounding out internet times around here so the chances of running into a sub 12.5 stock 5.0 here seems pretty low.

I enjoy a good laugh at the 2v or 3v Mustangs expense but it's in jest more than anything.

Past that I really don't have an issue with Fords. There are a lot more Fords I would own than GMs...

It's already been proved derp. Multiple stock cube n/a 5.4 combos making 600+ and one of which running in the 8s n/a on stock cubes.

lol there are multiple full bolton 5.0 combos out there making ~450. There will be even more with the new CJ mani. Your average bolton, cam 5th gen makes what 475? So yea let me tell ya they are really doing something with that extra 72ci

BS on your nobody has a motor combo worth **** on this site. There is a certain member with a boss on here that would give you a run for your money There is also another mid 11 sec n/a b head combo that post in this section alone.
