My 90 HP VW Golf vs Ford Windstar van So, I'm driving on a back road in my DD (01 VW Golf TDi), which is the slowest car I own, and I see a Ford Windstar van up ahead. He's driving 45 and I really go faster on back roads so I go to pass him, and the A-hole decides to punch it right next to me (typical Ford driver). He didn't stop accelerating till over 90 MPH! I guess he didn't figure I would do 110 MPH to pass him on a back road.

I try to race people in my GF's '08 Corolla "S" all the time to **** her off, ROFL its slow as ****. Like 125hp or something but heavy as hell for a compact
. Would be a close race with your few 100lb's lighter Golf!

lol, my slowest car is a Saturn sc1, just a single cam. I don't even bother trying to race/pass anyone. If I tried I would just get my *** kicked and get pissed off and wish I was driving one of my other cars. Haha

Gawd. I don't think you fully realize really how much of a turd it is. Other than my 1963 VW beetle that was 40 HP, this is the slowest car I have owned. I literally can be WOT and it just barely beats cars accelerating normally from a stop light.
But if I don't rail on it, I do average 50 mpg in it (which makes up for my cars in my sig.)

thats funny because im actually buying a 2002 golf tdi as my new daily from my grandfather. He did a few things to it like bigger injectors, bilstein stiff shocks all around and a tune. I think he said now it makes around 135 hp and a hell of a lot more torque.

Nice kill!
My company car is a 2003 Toyota Matrix with 200K+ miles on it. Its awd and is a blast to drive in the snow. I always get people speeding up when I pass them on the highway, its not hotrod but will run up to 110mph with no problem.

lol thats awesome. the other day i was driving the little 03 blazer on the interstate and i see this F&F D-bag flying up weaving through traffic in his little gulf behind me so as soon as he got to me I hammered it and he stayed right next to me and hit about 95 or so and I decided the poor old blazer had enough. Was so hilarious how mad he was.
