Alright! so i raced this guy with an lt1 who told me that he had a mild cam and bolt ons ( untuned), My car is basically stock but the original owner claims to have had put in 3.73 gears which im still trying to figure out if i have but anyways! we had 4 runs in total our first run wasnt good at all because he missed 2nd gear so i ended up winning that one on our 2nd rematch our cars we're almost dead even we were door to door but he won that one by about half a car to a nose. 3rd rematch i ended up taking it by about a little more then half a car. for our 4th one! i ended up missing a gear ( sad) lol. all of our runs were really close and i had fun regardless! but what do you think should of happened? should i have beat him no problem? or are the results expected i really dont know what to think lol.
Heres a link to our 3rd match! the one where i win. we didnt film the one where he won unfortunately.

To find out what gears you have, jack up the rear, put the car in neutral, have a buddy find a spot on the tire to watch, slowly rotate the drive shaft one full revolution while your buddy counts how many times the wheel rotates. If you have 3.73's, one full revolution of the drive shaft will rotate the wheel 3.73 times.
