It don't have much powa.....lol.....really. By todays standard it just don't. I'm ok with that. At times that may work to it's advantage oddly enough.
I'm just saying the chassis of the ZL is vastly superior. That butt hurts some for some reason.
the cts-v's do seem to go better. But at any rate the blower is to small on them too. The 2.3 is to small on the ZR. From some tests/results I've seen it boost tapers on it even after porting.

The ZR1 has made over 800whp and been mid 9's with that blower. Its not too small.

Sorry to hijack but I just noticed something. HioSSilver, your sig says you trapped 131MPH. Are you saying you trapped that with 417/395 and you weigh 3789 lbs...with a 6-speed?

It's very extensive weight reduction, though he did it in ways most people don't. Drilling holes in suspension pieces, no airbags, etc. And his is a hard-top, so it's probably closer to 3,300lbs stock.

The new S550 chassis Mustangs have IRS though, and it will be interesting to see how the GT350 performs. Word is it will put some current cars to shame. Maybe even that Z28.

I could car less what 3rd party says what. I go by my own eyes. and the pic that was posted. But if your gonna base what sporty car you buy about how you see out the rear window.......then you should probably buy a minivan or a Kia.
This entire bullshit argument and pointless hijack could've been avoided if you weren't so ridiculously stubborn. You can be a fan of one brand and have a preference/loyalty without being blind. I don't care who argues the point, as we'll never see the comparo, but in ANY instrumented performance test, someone would be a hopeless retard to put their money on a ZL1 over a GT. Just facts, and facts that YOU personally outlined. You failed this one, it's ok bud, happens to everyone. But the post of mine is totally worthless, as you're still arguing a well documented fact of fifth gen design...unbelievable.
LOL.......well we know yours would back up into the 14's w/o it.
of course a m6....**** a slush box.
Raceweight was about 3240~
The ZL chassis is superior in a road course way, yes.. not straight line. IRS>SRA for twisties, and SRA>IRS for straight line stuff.
