I read it on this site.....now according to you that's plenty good. Especially since I posted in that thread. Probably even better than you posting **** you know nothing about from random youtube vids.

Hey, it's not that I don't believe it because I have no reason not to think that a ZL1 can do that. And it has nothing to do with what I've seen personally either. Just wanted to make sure that it was "valid" by your own standards. But of course (according to you), nobody could reference that car on another forum, because then it's just hearsay.

Don't you worry about my car. Nothing chopped up about it. But I do find it funny that you furd guys like to bring it up so much. Must really bug you guys what a n/a bolt-on ls6 can do.

Yep.. just think what that car would do with the power of a Ford modular in it.

Now I gonna post another fact for you furd bitches. So far a bolt-on ZL has went faster than you guys... and he was on the stock blower. Ain't tht some ****.....all of you have non factory blowers and that pos ZL went faster on the stock blower........I'll be damned.
Sigh.. here we go again...

you talking about Baron? I sure hope not.. because that is a built motor, NOS car. But since you are talking about other peoples cars.. other gt500's are in the 9's with stock blowers.

I think he's talking about camaovigoa from C5. He has gone 10.6x with mostly bolt ons with his auto ZL1.

The snout is ported, so the blower isn't stock...

His mods:

"Roto-Fab CAI
2.55 Upper Supercharger Pulley with isolator upgrade
Ported Intake Snout
102MM TB
Redline ATI 8.66 Lower Crank Assembly
1 7/8” Long Tube Stainless Steel Headers with high flow cats and X pipe
160 degree thermostat
Custom Engine and Transmission Management Calibration

Wheels used: Weld 17'' RTSs front and rears with hoosier slicks and M&H skinnies.

Other mods: Lower pulley, idler belt and recalibration!"

That's a race car. I hope Hiho isn't talking about that one.

Looking at your chopped up racecar, I'm surprised it isn't in the high 9s or low 10s already.

Looks like ju1ce is a way better driver than you.

Yes you own one of the under performing beasts. I'm not gonna own either. They simply cost to much for me. But if I did it would be very safe to say I would have all yo eating your words.

Funny how others run 9's on stock blowers and some of you don't get near that on aftermarket blowers. His name on here is camarovigoa.

You guys hammer on this car like no other. You must forget that there is a caddy out there that thrashes gt500's to with the same engine.

i'm surprised he went with the 1-7\8 headers when it has been documented that 2" make more power.

Them cars running the low numbers have more money in their suspension than most have in their whole cars.......

Since your LS6 swapped Camero runs low 11's does that mean they all will? No, case and point when there was a guy with an LS6 F-body running mid 12's.......You can't go around comparing max effort builds to run of the mill builds

Those ZL's should be able able to do that on stock suspension.

yes, other replacement ls6 camaro's should if they have the same mods. Probably faster if they have a rear to leave on. If a ls6 4th gen camaro is running mid 12's they are clearly not doing something right. It takes no where near max effort to go into the 11's @ 120~ with a ls6 in a 4thgen. Realistically it's not really that hard to go 11's with the ls1.

I haven't been thrashed by one yet.. although I DID have a race setup with a 640rwhp(on a Mustang Dyno) CTS-V with an automatic. After I trounced another car from his area, they haven't wanted to run. He has a much faster Vette he wants to run me in now. Imagine that.

And I can guarantee I could have faster track times if I actually cared about them. You see... these guys who get these good times work at it, and go to the track over and over to fine tune their setup, launching etc.. but I am sure you already knew this right? I personally do not have the time or the inclination to spend night after night at the track fine tuning the car to launch and eventually break parts. Its just not fun to me. Maybe to you, but not me.

You know.. sort of how you made excuses in the 700hp vette thread about the slower guys having to get their combos down... remember that? What makes them fine tuning any different than us?

And the ones running 9's on stock blowers are 2013's. I have the same blower they do now. TVS is a nice unit.

11.7's stock seems pretty good to me for a 4200 pound car.

I agree, both cars can run respectable times out of the box.

Hero run ZL1 VS Hero run GT500 (both bone stock)

11.71@117.61 VS 11.25@127.91

A better comparison would be manual vs manual hero runs

12.07 @ 120.01 vs 11.25 @ 127.91
