ova might be on to something. I know with combine classes cost has nothing to do with it, but HP is part of the criteria.

So, look what I did for ya there.

I stated that the 500 is Faster… (Not that it's debatable… but no one is denying it.)

So in terms of straight line speed, in stock trim, the 500 wins. So if the issue is simply speed… you have everything ya could ask for.

How much more can I do for ya? Honestly?

Yep. My company is the Volvo CE dealer. Tier 4i is tough to deal with. Cost sky rocketed! Thanks EPA!

so far deere has done it with just dpf and egr. but tier4 final is coming and they're putting a **** tank on it. they said they did make the final emissions without it, but just barely. and if they get tested and don't pass then they get huge fines.

older iveco engines drink **** fluid like mad.

no case dealer here. and with multi unit deals they almost make it impossible to run different colours of iron.

WHat won't do it? The ZL is the GT500 competitor. You built motor Z is not. Faster or not... hell if we want to talk faster, I would also take a ZR1 out if that's what you want to hear. But I am modified.

I agree with ova that the zl1 is the better car, just slower in a straight line oot of the box.

Do you honestly not think GM tested the ZL1 in year round conditions at the Ring? You think they ran out there one time and posted that time? That was their BEST time.

I will concede to you that an IRS system is more capable on a road course than SRA. We shall see how the new S550 Mustangs do when they come out with IRS.

The Volvo heavy duty trucks? Just curious... I work for Daimler Trucks North America (Freightliner, Western Star, Sterling etc)

Not sure yet. If work isn't hectic for next weekend, I might try to ride out there. If I can't make it, I can meet somewhere between us,, grab some grub, race etc.

The car is a good handler no doubt. I never said it wasnt. Just that the ZL and 500 are direct competitors... not the Corvettes.
