Sorry, I don't speak jive.

There might be Bosses trapping higher at Cecil I am not there every weekend and spent most of last year at my home in Florida. I just pointed out the ones I saw stock running since people seem to think they are slow. Most I see racing are not stock though. There was a modded one hitting 117MPH in pea soup air when Mr. Law and I were at OSW with terrible axle hop.

Could use some work, but it was good.
I honestly don't see how people still talk down on 5.0's this much, or can be so ignorant about them. Yes, there is a ton of hype and internet B.S. that has clouded the judgement of many. The car is not a damn miracle, but they have good potential with basic mods, and can run respectable times. I don't get why that is so hard to accept. I am not a nutswinger, and I am not saying the car is superior to an F-Body in every aspect...but come on man. People need to pull their heads out of their asses and get over brand loyalty. If you really are a car enthusiast, you can respect both sides of the spectrum.
Having said that, in my bolt-on WS6 I raced 3-4 5.0's. Beat the stock cars without a problem, and it was a drivers race between the others depending upon the mods. I drove my good friends stock '13 5.0 at the track bone stock and it trapped 111mph. Same day another good friend trapped 116-117mph with intake/x-pipe/tune/tire in an '11. With almost full bolt-on's now there is no way I would have a chance of beating the '13. Just posting my personal experience to contribute to the data we have accumulated in this thread.
Making the same amount of power, an F-Body will win the majority of the time vs. a 5.0. But if we are talking bolt-on for bolt-on, 5.0 will be the victor damn near every time. Pretty damn obvious but most people can't understand this concept. There are exceptions, just as in everything else in life, but this is what I have observed from experience.
Carry on with the bullshit and nonsense.

Yeah, I'm with the herd on this one. I think the 5.0 is a great car for what it is. It's a sharp car and is fairly quick. But in my experience with runnin' against them, they're not near the maulers that they are represented here on the SRK.
But hey… in all honesty, this is one of the few places on earth where you can drive in with an 11 second ride and get absolutely NO RESPECT.
LOL! I've got a friend that has a Mach1 and he absolutely LOVES that car. He goes on and on about how fast that car is, eagerly telling me of his kills against this and that. Really a great guy and a true Ford guy to the core.
He went to the track with me and the guys a few months back, riding with me and I thought he was going to bust a nut. He had never been in a fast car.
But, you Mustang guys will be happy to know that when I dropped him off at the house he flat refused to agree to any suggestion that he's ready to buy a Camaro… steadfastly certain that he now has the second fastest car in town.

The much anticipated video with my passenger in the car.
Since people will ask, I am 220, the passenger is 240, and TRASHCAN is ~150.
Maybe we'll take one for 'tech and redo these runs with a GoPro so everyone gets good, clear video.

And thats a basically a stock 5.0 with a 220lb passenger pulling lengths. It's not that hard to admit that the 5.0's are faster stock for stock is it? It doesn't take anything away from the f bodies. They couldn't stay on top forever.

Ok tell me whats done to it besides a drag radial. Youre ******* retarded if you think that car has mods...absolutely retarded...
If people KNOW that car is modded, show me proof of whats done to it. I would seriously like to know.
Better yet... show me proof that YOU have run faster at ANY track EVER!
