It ran that time with no weight removed from the car. Its a stripper model. It only has 60 lbs out of it total from the factory now. And it went 12.4 with a 2.2 60 ft. Not a 1.8 like the OP.

Im simply having a convo. I get it. You like to ruffle feathers on here. I know how it works. Just telling you the facts about it. I agree that its weight isnt normal. We weighed the car at full weight to get a baseline for weight removal. With an 1/8 tank of gas (which is the only way he ever seems to race it), it weighed 3300lbs. Hes only 125lbs. Since then we have pulled 50lbs out of the nose of the car. We weighed the car the same day, hour, scale as my buddies GTCS which had roughly 100lbs of weight pulled out of it and it came in at 3540lbs.

He was the first owner. Ordered it as light as the options could take him. I feel like the body of the car is thinner or some ****. Its legit 150lbs lighter then a base model should be. And I have been through the entire car (because I want the weight out of my boss) and everything is still in it....

You said it was 34xx race weight before? That's a lot more than 150 lbs lighter than it should be. Stripper or not.

im going based off the cars weight. The driver weight is well under average at only 125lbs. It was 3300lbs with an 1/8 tank. All curb weights are measured with full tanks. Its not uncommon to see 3450-3475 vehicle weights from base models with no gas. There is a lot of weight added with features, systems etc. I hate how the internet just says the GT weighs 3600lbs. They vary so much in weight.

I know a guy with a 12' auto 5.0 and it's a base model too I believe. No options. It weighs over 3700 lbs. Maybe Ford cut some weight out of your buddies car to make it a "factory freak".

I was on street tires as mentioned 1000x in this thread.... and it was 1.9.
