Honestly though, it would take a badass example of a 5.0 to hang with what would be considered a totally average LS3.
The A6 vette has more average power, lighter, more torque, and are easier to drive.

ALL LS3 Camaro's are "portly" and only the 2010 + Camaro SS ever got the LS3(because it's about Camaro, as stated, not just anything)... while it's fairly close, the Mustang GT OUTRIGHT BEATS IT in nearly ever performance category. It just DOES...

We're not talking about equipping the SS with Recaro seats and the 1LE package... That adds $5,500 to the price. With the 1LE, it will beat the Mustang GT. Without it, the SS is in trouble.
