I wouldn't even waste money on a boss intake. . Cj intake is proven to make more power everywhere than the boss especially below 6500 rpm. I am also not delusional enough to think I know better than my tuner to get the car shifting where it should

The power on a 5.0 with stock intake peaks at 6800 rpm. You cannot change that with tivct. Boss intake peaks at 7500ish... again you won't change that. Shifting to soon or to late and will run slower. Tuners have this figured out already.. you aren't going to learn anything new. You're delusional if you think otherwise. A stock stalled auto is losing more winding the motor up than it gains up top. When the car is setup right for the boss it is worth .1 ..maybe .15 on average.
