calling out snake95\ other 5.0's! 
my stock 92,000 mile 87 formula 305 WS6 challenges you to a duel! 80's 5.0 streetcar showdown!
yes everyone, I know that 3rd gen formula's look wonderful. compliments are nice but lets keep them to a minimum to conserve bandwidth.
80's ford 5.0's generally have no chance against a stock 305 TPI (LB9) this is common knowledge and not up for debate so don't even try.
perhaps snake will post pics of his new 86 GT rocketship.
Here's a typical street race between a stock G92 305 and a 5.0 GT

80's showdown!
so far snake and I have agreed to a stock cube build off, + a .030-ish bore job if need be. factory stroke. any top end. these will be true street cars and not "street cars". (no race gas, E85, ridiculous camshafts or forced induction. no N2O)
both of our cars are similar weight. there will be no major gutting or weight reduction.
probably be 1\8th mile, just because I have a hard time getting to a 1\4 mile due to it's distance and my job. best ET wins. snake has yet to confirm the 1\8th.
if anyone is silly enough to want in on this nonsense, feel free to ask.
contestants so far:
Hammer, with the most glorious 87 305 formula ever
snake, with an 86 mustang GT.
Guitar, with some ****** BMW ****** thing.
92 silverado with
1986 gt
stock 302
e-cam
bbk short ram intake
shorty headers
flowmasters
3:89 gears
hoosier bias ply QTP
100% stock suspension
13.5 so far

We'll just compare time slips corrected. I'll be running 1/8 mile since the 1/4 is so far away. And if I'm making the trip to gimili 1/4 mile I'm taking my ultra fast bolt on ls1 cobro/5.bro killer.

Snake just read this thread and now he's sitting in his 5.0 telling it that everything is going to be ok. He could be scratching his butthole too.
