Mac tactics:
#1: Move the goal posts to fit your argument
#2: Pull up Internet articles that you didn't read, and actually support the opposite of your argument
#3: Change the argument by asking people if they can read, and contradicting what you said earlier
#4: Attack others times, even though you haven't run them, and have a broken car
#5: Make tough guy Internet callouts with a broken car
Need I keep going?

He is probably thinking of the 94-95 Cobra, which was pulling mid 14's. It's a good comparison to the 1LE and late L98's. The strongest TPI vs the strongest 5.0L in cars with nearly identical weights. They run basically identical times.

For once, you are correct. The GT's were pulling mid 15's.

So then it's safe to say that a tpi 305/350 is the better of the vast majority of 302's. It took furd building the cobro version to equal them up when you account for the weight difference.

I wouldn't say that at all. I said this before, I don't give a **** about the weight differences, any more than the chevy guys care that ford has the smaller motor. Ford didn't have to build their cars faster due to them having the lighter car. They also didn't have to make it faster because the aftermarket was so strong.
Just like GM didn't have to make the LS1 any stronger. No competition from ford and a strong aftermarket. By the time the Cobra came out, the LT1 was dominating and ford had to do something to keep it close.

I call em like I see em. I called BS on both the SN95's running 14's and the L98 running 13's.
A person that spouts his opinions as "facts" with no proof is a joke.

my stock 92,000 mile 87 formula 305 WS6 challenges you to a duel! 80's 5.0 streetcar showdown!
yes everyone, I know that 3rd gen formula's look wonderful. compliments are nice but lets keep them to a minimum to conserve bandwidth.
80's ford 5.0's generally have no chance against a stock 305 TPI (LB9) this is common knowledge and not up for debate so don't even try.
perhaps snake will post pics of his new 86 GT rocketship.
Here's a typical street race between a stock G92 305 and a 5.0 GT
