Yeah, sometimes I don't know what is going on or if someone is serious but I'm in this for the fun of it. I love talking smack but not the "hey you got a little *****" kind of smack.

For example: I have a friend that I had never raced. His car was a lot faster so I talked a ton of trash about how he was gonna get drug. I revved my car (which was loud) as much as possible while staging to intimidate him AND believe it or not, it worked. He missed a gear - which I had never seen him do. Unfortunately, I got so psyched that I had the race in the bag that I missed a gear too. He ended up beating me and we didn't race again for several years. Wow, I suppose there was moral to the story. Never mind.

Oh, BTW Snake. You gonna loose to a Miata. You might need some therapy afterward.

 

Yeah I was expecting one of these: I won't even be able to use a .500 without coil bind. I just hope I can find a cheap unloved E303 cam.

Yes but you drive a LS car... that lift is very street friendly in a LS car. Just ask Hammer.. he knows all about it. He built a bolt on LS1 after all. How could he possibly not know about cammed LS' s?

 

my LS is a bolt on car because that's what i want it to be. my 455 is cammed and so will my 305, and many engines i had before. someday when you have a car or two you'll understand as well.

Yup, I run a .624 lift cam and it runs fine on the street. Idles around 750 too.

 

You know whats funny is when something comes full circle. It happens to me a lot in here but not this time. To you though it has, you said you had built ls engines before and other cars. So has Hammer just bc he has a bolt on ls1 doesn't mean he doesn't know what he is talking about. He knows plenty about engines and how to select a good cam.
