Default what's the excuse going to be now GM?

So now ford owns the fastest production 1/4 mile drag car, and the fastest production track car, sad day for GM fanboys. What excuse will they use now?

Both C6Z and ZR1 were faster by about 10 seconds. The Camaro Z28s time is 5 seconds slower, in wetter conditions.

I'd be interested in all the new production car times that haven't come out yet. New V, New C7Z, etc. The old Ford GT did it in 7:40, and I'm sure it can do much better than that now, even with its lil o v6. lol

Its just good to see Cadillac suspension getting it done in the turns on any car its on.

That's impressive if it's true, I wish they'd release specs on the cars in question (GT350/GT350R). Any car I own won't be stock for long, so not too worried about stock for stock comparisons.... but the manufacturers competing like this can only be good for us. I'm more inclined to thank Ford for lighting a fire under that *** (of GM).

So the R will be the same price as a z28, and 5 seconds quicker. Damn.

I guess the Ford fanboys can thank GM for raising the bar.

I am quite sure that the GT350R is going to be in the 100,000+ range.

Congrats Ford.

Considering the length of the Nurburgring I think 5 seconds is all that much. It could easily be the difference between drivers, tires, air temp, various surface conditions, or other weather issues.

I never understood why this matters. It's like being proud that a **** star is banging your wife. Sure you can brag about it, but it makes your shortcomings more apparent. Especially when you try to base it as an argument. I didn't give a **** when GM was ahead, nor do I Ford

I hope GM brings back the Z/28 to the ring when it's not drizzling and practically raining on the track.
Then we can get a real idea of it's time.

^This sounds like its going to be the fall back excuse now lol.

Its over time gonna get worse and worse. By the time the GT350 is released... its going to have been a full blown thunderstorm/earthquake when the Z28 was tested.

Hell I think there may have even been ice on the track that day too...
