Default Cobra vs 1LE

Thought I'd share a "blue collar" race. It all stemmed from a random encounter the weekend before with a fellow forum member. For details on that, here is the thread ~~> http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...Cobra-(redfire)

Here is the video:

Cobra (pulley and supporting bolt ons)
Camaro (CAI and ported TB)

1st run: 50ish roll, cobra took the hit
2nd run: 50ish roll, camaro took the hit

It was loads fun and lobra was an outstanding dude. Very cool to have met him. We all had a great time eating BBQ after the runs.

Interesting that the hit could have that much of a difference.

That's what happens when 2 cars are pretty even. Which ever one gets the hit wins.

Good runs zyborg......glad to see you out playing again.

Thanks guys. We had some more runs, wins did seem to go to whomever had the hit. Cars seemed somewhat even. I will say that the Cobra was likely the faster but it was probably in need of a retune. Definitely a sharp car, Eaton screamed.

It has been a while but hopefully I will get to make some more videos like I used to on my old c5z.

A lighter clutch. A 60+lb clutch is way to much......no reason for that. Then a carbon ds. When modding address the car's issues.....fifgens issues is weight. Specifically rotating weight. It ain't a one size fits all type thing.

Funny you should say, I just installed some LTs this past weekend. Tune will come by the end of the month.

There is a lot of truth to that my friend but unfortunately, my only complaint with this car has been the drive by wire TB. I absolutely hate it. I really miss the ol' cable system. Because of that, I have selected some mods that should help with the throttle response delay/lag/hesitation. That and I needed some sound out of this bucket.

Yes, eventually would like some lightening of the rotational mass on this portly car. That should come in time.

I think a tune would help that out big time at least it did for me. My L99 was a whole new car with just a tune no lag at all.
