If you could get a 4.155 bore lt1 block you would see some nastiness... It's really just an SBC and they can make really good power.

I had a bolt on lt1 that ran super hard for what ever reason. I would pull on my buddies SN95 cobra.
157k on the motor, never burned a drop of oil. And the engine harmonics were almost non existent lol.
They are 2 great engines, and I have had great luck with both. And they both can be upgraded to be absolute monsters.

LS series is a great engine. LS > Gen II LT1 in setups involving stock cylinder heads. Those heads come off and man does the game change.

And to think, no LT1 block ever bursted from pure power.

How's that LS1 block holding up... Oh wait!
LS series engines have a ton more potential than LT1's due to the improvements that were made to the design like the mains being six bolt and the intake runners being separate, and a laundry list of improvements. That was the point of the redesign. This may not be all that true with the actual "LS1".

I think the biggest difference between the LS1 and LT1 is the PCM and how much easier the LS is to work with. Power wise the LT can get it done just as easily.

Notice how Nick H. hasn't posted again in here, since his ignorance was confirmed (again), and he was made a fool of.

Maybe not as easily. You going to at least need to upgrade rockers, aftermarket heads , cam, ignition and with full bolt on to reach ls1 "cam only"( plus supporting mods) status.

Put the same heads, cam and intake on both and they're essentially the same.

Well so if I put AFRs on both cars with a custom cam that works best for each you think the LT1 will match the ls1? Or you talking about everything the exact same ?

Lol you're a moron. LS series engines are easier to get power out of mod for mod than an LT1. I love the LT1. And I love how you think about me when I'm not here. Makes me feel special.
Tell me more about how Lucas products give to that extra MPH from your friends radar gun in a parking lot.
