Cam/6.0L T/A vs Bolt On 99 Cobra

Yes. I did. First time ever at a track, first time ever launching my car, with wind and rain coming in and out. Best pass was 12.08 at 116. Best trap was 117. I only got to run 3 passes, couldn't figure out my launch within those 3 passes.
The 12.08 run would have been easy 11's but the car has this weird issue that neither me nor my tuner can find the cause to. I'll nail 3rd and the car lays over and cuts power for a few seconds, then regathers itself. It did it, of course, on the run where I had my best launch.
I did a 5k dump as well and the car smacked the bumpstops so that was a waste of a pass.
Not let down by my times whatsoever being that I've never ran the car on the track nor on the setup it has now. And my car is LBO. It's not a FBO setup.

Lol we earlier established that your new downhill acceleration video was about on par with a lbo 5.0. So clearly he would ruin you by like at least 2 bus lengths. Maybe if you could set up a run where he was going up hill and you were going downhill then you might have a chance.

On The Tree
Posting a random picture of an engine doesn't prove that you did anything to it. Who looks stupid again?
Are you mad that I'd humiliate your old bolt on set up, and give your Whipple a run for its money? And the road was flat, just like that noodle you call a brain.

My point. The LS1 is more superior! The "newer" ls1 has so many head designs and tunning because noone puts money into a lt1. Only the very few that still like those motors. Easier to make more power out of a LS. You don't usually see anyone get rid of their LS1 fbody to get into a LT1 fbody.
I am guessing you got into LS engines when most LT1's were getting ragged out, just like the poor LS1 combinations you see posted here all the time these days. As these platforms get cheaper to obtain, they tend to get modded out with ebay parts and are just plain mismatched combos. As a result you end up with heads cam 6.0's getting beat by cars that trap 114.

The LS1 does have a power advantage but not to the degree you claim. it is simply easier to work with and a better platform for upgrading...especially bigger cubes (400+). However a simple AI H/C package will put a LT1 in the 400-420whp range, run mid low 11's, and trap around 120 done right.

I may try and get it under the knife for a 5.3 or 6.0 boost build, but I'm focusing on my 5.0 for now.
It was a learning experience. I definitely know of a few things I will be doing differently next time out.
