I just got my hands on this video. This is a manual 6th gen SS. Kid claimed tune only but he said on whatever dyno it was on it made 430 stock and 480 after his "tune." Either way, 40-140ish, second run was a botched run, thats why it was short.
My car is flex fuel, full exhaust and cai. Empty weight is about 100lbs heavier than Poppas.

I'll probably be trading in the vette for a blue A8 1SS with NPP pretty soon. Those couple of occasions where I was in the vette and needed a backseat were enough to convince me. I hardly ever drive the truck anymore unless I'm towing something cuz its so boring to drive.

I'm sure it had a tune. The exhaust was also fairly loud for a stock car, I'm not sure what the NPP option is but it sounded pretty throaty. Good runs for sure, I definitely had some mph on him up top, you know, where my artificial torque runs out

subtle but effective.

While admittedly lost most of those races. I don't fault the upper end of my power band. I have watched these races now 4 times each examining where I was losing or gaining. And to me it seemed like my last few 100rpms is where I'd stop the pull but would have to change gears. This was most evident to me in the final 2 runs.

Guy at my work just got a blue Camaro SS. Haven't really checked out the car (don't know him), but man is it freaking gorgeous. I wasn't keen on the 6gen looks in the beginning, but seeing the car in person instantly changed my mind. The blue just makes the car look that much better.

Npp is just their optional exhaust. They used ti rate the car different or they did the vette anyway. Now it seems it make no more power tgan the regular exhaust it's just louder at wot.
Subtle......maybe . Probably honna have to win to make it effective.
